Last time we went, I was 6 months pregnant with #3. I avoided the "do not ride" rides (better safe than sorry, especially since it is more than just possible miscarriage/premature delivery for the reasons to avoid), which isn't really all that much. I didn't miss them as much as I thought I would (and I am a HUGE thrill rider) and I did things I proably wouldn't have done otherwise. It was a very enjoyable trip.
I wouldn't put off a pregnancy for a trip because (1) you might not get pregnant when you plan. I practically sneezed and was pg with #1 & #3, but #2 took two years. (2) a trip is a few days in a lifetime & a child is a lifetime. Age gaps between kids is more than just missing a few rides. (3) Those rides will be there for the next trip. The ones you need to avoid are going no where unless something dramatic happens and I doubt Space Mountain is going to break in two.
We have a Dec trip planned, and it might need to be postponed until Jan/Feb
due to DH's work, but we starting to try for #4. I might still not be pregnant and if I am, at least the age gap will be more to my liking than another school year behind. I'd prefer to have the majority of my life where I want it than to ride Splash Mountain or Test Track on one particular day.
