Would you go 7/4/2010 weekend?

DD's B~day is 7/3 ~ next year 2nd level (fewer blocked out days) S. CA AP block out starts on the 3rd ~ this year the weekend of the 4th was pretty good I hear - would it be the same this next year? I've always said DD would never get to spend her B~day at Disneyland but I'd love her to be able to especially while she's still young (she'll be 7 next year!!)

So give me your thoughts ~ would I be crazy to consider this or crazy not to?

This year was a fluke. It often reaches capacity on the 4th.

I don't know that it was a fluke really, I think it was related due to the So Cal and Deluxe APs being blocked. But I don't know that I would go the day before block outs start, reports from this year were horrible crowds as all the lower level APers tried to get in "one last trip" before they were blocked.

Well S. CA is blocked starting on the 3rd and the Deluxe is as well for the 3rd-5th of July....

Aren't they always blocked for the 4th though?

For the 4th yes, but the days after not usually. This year because it was on a weekend they were blocked before and after.
