Would you give up AKV CL?

I have booked a Studio CL at AKV during F&W. Worked hard and was able to get 6 nights there. Just DH an myself....Now I'm having second thoughts...possibly thinking about keeping AKV CL for the first 3 nights...doing the safari that CL can book then switching the last 3 nights to either a studio at BCV or BWV broadwalk view so we can really enjoy F&W.

Never stayed CL so did not know if we would get tired of the free breakfast/snacks offering?

Any thoughts? Am I crazy to give up AKV CL? HELP!!!! I cannot decide and DH is just fine with where ever we stay.

I would split, because that's what I booked! At 11 months out or so, I booked 1 night AKV concierge, it's a Friday and we want to do the Wildlife Discovery Expidition on Saturday morning and then we're going for 2 nights to BCV to be close to F&W!

We only have a long weekend obviously and maybe others wouldn't want to move, but I have these specific things to do, and we're fine with the plans.

I agnonized as to weather to try for BLT for the last 2 nights, because hopefully there will be a MNSSHP on the Sunday night, but I couldn't give up SAB! DH doesn't care, he just wants me to be happy!

I'd choose to stay with the 6 nights of CL. We LOVE CL at AKV, and DH thinks that's the only place he wants to stay at AKV!

We're in the same boat-- trying to decide if we should keep AKV CL or try for a 1 BR at BLT. The 7 month mark isn't here yet, so I still have time to decide.

We have 6 nights booked in a AKV CL 1 BR. Since we have 3 young children and plan on going to MNSSHP, we were thinking BLT would be better for our stay.

All decisions should be this tough.

I think it would depend on your dates..

If it's Oct 11-16, then you should definitely go with BCV! ...'cause I'm on the waitlist!!!! I've got my nephew and his bride-to-be reserved at AKV and waitlisted on the CL for their Disneymoon.

You may have trouble at this point getting a studio at BCV or BWV during F&W.

I'd probably keep the CL. I'm not much on split stays. Once I unpack I like to stay there. Unless you plan to go back to the resort several times a day, I don't see why you'd have to be so close to Epcot (except at closing time).

For only a 6 night stay, I would stay with CL. I loved my 4 night stay at AKV CL last spring. I have done a couple of split stays and I prefer to have at least 5 nights or so at each location. If the stay is shorter, I just feel like it is temporary and I don't feel as at home as if I stayed at one resort instead.

Since AKV CL is generally the harder of the 2 reservations to secure during most times of the year I would stick with AKV CL. It might be very hard to get a studio at one of the Epcot area resorts during F&W at this point. Besides you would get to come home each night to a whole new assortment of goodies in the concierge lounge after a long day of partaking in F&W treats

I agree. Who knows if you'll ever get a chance to book AKV CL again.
