would you get the pool heat?

Hi all. We have rented a 3bdr townhouse that has the private mini pool off the patio. Since we have twin 4 year olds I think the pool will be a big hit and I am very excited about using it in the evenings. Would you pay the extra $95 for the pool heat if you were me? I'm thinking yes, but this is a budget trip and I am trying to be smart with our limited funds. Thanks for the feedback!

We go in January and absolutely require pool heat, but I've always talked the owner into paying for it (a benefit of renting off season).
I don't know about November, but with little ones, even cool water might ruin the pool experience.
I'd ask the owners for their experience and hope other provide some input here.

Pool heat is recomended October-April.

I would pay to have the splash pool heated. If there is a pool blanket I would suggest using that also.

I have a pool . . . if they can tell you average pool temps, here is what I think.

80 is cold
82 is OK
84 is Good
86 is Warm

I usually go in Nov and have rented a house. You definitely need the heat in Nov. Our pool even with the heat on was cool. But it was a full size pool and no one had it heated before our arrival. Since it is small it would probably heat quickly. If the splash pool is not in direct sun how will it heat up?

I think that you'd be disappointed with an unheated pool if you're excited about the prospect of using it when you're there in mid-November. Crank it up and enjoy!

We too had rented a townhouse with splash pool. You're kids will LOVE it!
