Would you do a KID FREE DISNEY TRIP!?!?

we are next year... DD actually doesn't want to go back, she would rather go with her mom mom and pop paul to myrtle beach in their RV for the week

So me and DH are going the same week (also our 4 year wedding anniversary) now mind you we took our DD 4 times (including the upcoming trip in August) so she is far from neglected , she even came on our honeymoon... see my siggy

We are actually looking forward to it and we are gonna stay at the Poly and do all the things she can't/wouldn't like to do

I love Disney with my kids and I love Disney without my kids. They are somewhat different experiences, but both great! I guess it's different for each of us as parents, but I'm a better mom if I get to be just me for a few days. If you think you will miss your kids too much or that their absence will negatively impact the trip, then maybe you should pass. My guess is that you will absolutely love it all on your own too - especially with friends. Remember too that someday you won't be vacationing with your kids - don't forget how to have fun on your own!

No. I would spend the entire trip thinking how much my kids would love the things I see. I could do other kid free vacations-but not Disney World.

I totally agree with this. I'd feel way too guilty leaving them home.

I did it once...and it was a blast and don't have any regrets. Would I do it again? I don't know... I felt guilty when I first drove in under the arches, but overall...it was worth it. But, that being said, having my kids with me at Disney is what it's all about for me. I'll probably only do it again when they are teens and we can each have our own time away from each other....LOL
