If you have someone to watch the kiddies I would say go and can I come and use your babysitter.

I voted, no way, but not for the reason you gave. DH and I love adults only travel. We've left them for as long as two weeks (25th anniversary trip to Europe). For us, Disney is a family destination.

ive got 1 DS nearly 2 i took him away in april to WDW for 2 weeks and he enjoyed it but got tired and cranky all the time. hes prob bit to young to remember anythin. my DBf is takin me for 2 weeks in feb for my bday im not takin him im guna fone in everyday and corse im guna miss him like mad but it will be nice to do the rides and things without all the baby swap, the heat was too muc hfor him too.

We never have, but I think when the kids are older, sure! DH wants to do Richard Petty & golf, I want to Parasail over the lagoon & spa, we both want to do Victoria & Albert's chef's table
These are things we don't take the time out to do with kids in tow, but hey I'll take them as long as they are willing :goodvibes
It'll be a sad day if they ever tell us to go w/out them :sad1:

I think the guilt would kill me.
Or the kids would when I got back.
For real.. I'd have to sleep with one eye open:lmao:

Disney without our DS is not even an option; he is 9 1/2 and we have been going yearly since he was 4 1/2. We look forward to this trip every year and couldn't imagine doing it without him...i think I would cry. Especially on his favorite rides. I am getting all emotional right now thinking about him not being there. I surprised DH with a trip to Disney for his 33rd bday this was prior to having a bundle in the oven and that was awesome. But I didn;t know at that time how much fun it is with a kid....couldn't do it..wouldn't do it. Now that is not to say that we do not go out at night while there and have DMIL stay with him one night...that I can do.

76 days to the World!!!

We're talking about where we'd like to go next year for our 10th anniversary, and we both keeping bringing up all these things we'd like to do at WDW minus kids. We really go back and forth :)

I voted absolutely because we are doing this next summer. But the only way I will do it is if DH and I head to DL then have my parents meet us there with the kids.

I'm all for going on an adults only vacation (we are going to cancun in 2 weeks:cool1: ) I'm just not sure I could do a DL trip without them.

My best friend and I are going for a long weekend in September for free dining, so I voted YES! My DH can't see how I can go without the kids, but we will do things totally different than when we have kids with us. Plus, we are going as a family soon, too, so I think that eases my guilt.

We've done Disney with and without. Both were fun in different ways. Don't know that we can get away with it anymore because of the ages of our children and their low tolerance to being left at home knowing that DD & DM were with the Mouse!

Absolutely:thumbsup2 In fact, DH & I celebrated our Anniversary at WDW all alone and LOVED it. It was a different place looking at it as adults only. Kids also knew we were going and were happy for us. They understand that they get to go a lot and we were celebrating something very special:lovestruc

It's hard to say. I have ONLY been to WDW without (actually, before) kids. So, our next trip is to take our kiddos. We can't wait to experience it with them!!

Although I am glad we got to experience it on our own before kids.

i think it would be different for me if my DS was older when he could understand where im goin. his dad and i arnt together & he wanted josh for a few weeks so it seemed perfect to me. wen josh is older i will have to take him its so nice with children xxx:cutie: just this way i get to go ith my DBf and take things slower and do what we like xx

Yes, and we have. We took a week just DH and myself in 2006 for our anniversary- and we stayed at the Poly lagoon view club level. We had the best time!!! Disney isn't just for kids.

YES, YES, YES! I'd have to make it a short trip, and leave my DD with my mom. We Disneymooned there and it was awesome, but of course I'm going to miss the heck out of DD... and then there's the Mommy Guilt. BUT, I'd still do it!

I think we'd have to fib and tell her Daddy had to bring me on a business trip :P

We used to go all the time before we had children. Since having them, we've always brought them, however, we are just in the process of booking a weekend trip without them. It's during the Princess 1/2 Marathon. We decided we'd leave them home and just the two of us are going.

I had a conference right outside DL last year and decided to go on a quick solo trip...amazing how much you can see and do without the ongoing issues of where's the bathroom/i'm thirsty/hungry/tired/wanna see mickey/minnie/etc. I love taking my children, but I was able to really take in the architecture, enjoy the visual jokes, etc. The single rider line was awesome!

with out a doubt!!!!!!! we are actually planning a trip for just my husband and i for hopefully next november. we'll see. but i do hope we get to go!!

Impossible. 90% of the experience is going with my DD, if she were not there I would be depressed.

No...I can't do it! I am so hokey...I love, love being at WDW with my kids. Mine are 12, 9, and 7yrs old. They are growing so fast so I want to experience it with them while I can. I can't imagine leaving them behind right now.
