Was thinking of staying at the new Royal Pacific at Universal first 3 nights then moving over to WDW for remaining 3 nights. Would you do this or just stay Disney all the way. Our passes are still good for WDW and then expire after. hmmmmm
Thanks!

YES!!!!!!
Went to both this May, stayed offsite for Disney and stayed at the Portofino for two nights for front of the line access. (Wish the new one was open then---what a great rate!!!!!!) The new hotel is supposed to have the boat access, and that worked just great having these boats take you the front of both parks.
We loved every minute of WDW and Universal/IOA, but I almost did not schedule more than a day, and then we were just going to Universal. Saw the promo video for Universal and we were hooked.
My 5 year old and 10 year old had so much fun at these two parks, that we spent 3 days at Universal, and 4 days at WDW parks, and it worked perfect for us. We rode everything, and most of it many, many times.(We got away with just doing a few hours at EPCOT because my kids thought it was a real yawn).
We left our hotel real early in the AM, and left our luggage at the front desk at the Portofino, and even though we were not checked in yet, we got a temporary room key for front of the line. We only stayed two nights, but used front of the line for 3 days.

DD and I did this last year when Hard Rock was new.

3 days at HR and 3 days at CBR. We should have stayed at the HR the entire time and driven over to disney the last 3 days each day.

HR was much nicer than CBR.

The new RP is gonna be real nice, I hear.

Herc.

I've said this before and I'll say it again...

Do Disney FIRST! :D

We did this last May, I stayed at the HR for two nights and then stayed at the Dolphin for 5 nights. Not a good idea. Once you have a taste of FOTL or Universal Express, standing in line at Disney becomes a nightmare. After skippng the lines for two days waiting on line for 25 mins for Universe of Energy felt like a week! We had to get a fastpass for Test Track and it told us to come back in 4 hours! Yikes!

I always suggest tagging the onsite USF hotels on last. Believe me, it can spoil you!
