Would you change your plans?

I didn't think to look at the Easywdw crowd predictor before I made ADR's. The first day we have an ADR at 11:45 at Crystal Palace (this is a must see for my hubby because he loves Winnie the Pooh...or dogs name is Eyore if that tells you anything. lol).

But they have MK listed as the not recommended park for the day though overall crowds are listed at a 2.

Would you change plans based on the crowd predictor?

No, but I would be prepared to hop to another park. We travel to WDW during slow seasons and I still avoid EMH parks because they are much more crowded, even when we travel.

Why fight extra crowds, even if they aren't bad, if you do not have to do so?

With a predicted crowd level of 2 I wouldn't adjust plans.

regardless of crowd sizes easywdw always has recommended and not recommended parks on everyday, but I would plan more on the basis of the overall crowd rating, and for anything below 5 I would not be too concerned about impact of crowds to your planning

Actually, Josh says that the paying attention to the recommended parks is more important when crowd levels are low, because the crowd fluctuations are so much greater than in busier times when it's always crowded. OP, is the day you're scheduled to be at MK a non-party day? If so, the crowds will be much larger, since there will be the fireworks and parade at night.

Even so I doubt that if the parks are at 2 they are going to jump anything close to crowded and impact your planning even with longer park hours and added parades and fireworks.

All depends on how much other stuff I had to change in order to not be in a park on a non recommended day.

Lower crowds are always atop my priority list, but sometimes they are unavoidable. Crystal Palace is a must do in your book...so, why not hit Magic Kingdom at rope drop and knock out all the big stuff in the morning. Crowds won't be that bad until the afternoon anyway. Hit lunch, then hop over to epcot or another park (that has your FP+ waiting on your arrival) that is less busy after lunch.

I would not change if the crowd is only listed at a 2. We went last week and it was listed at a 7 and with fastpasses we did everything we wanted to do. Just make sure you have your fastpasses but with only a 2 on the crowd calendar you will be fine. If it is more crowded then you like hop to another park.

It doesn't appear there are any parties that day but there is an extra hour I guess which will draw more crowds? It's September 25th.

Wow, that's the same week we will be there, excited to hear of crowd levels THAT low! :)

If it were me, I would look to see if I could make the same ADRs on the recommended days and change if so. That's me being really particular about my "rules" of not going on an EMH day, etc, etc. I'm pretty sure we aren't going to have to stress about crowds too much!

If it was a 10 one day then a 5 the next I might change. But not for a 2.

The days without parties will be more crowded than the party days, because the party days don't have Wishes and MSEP. But, if the day is a 2, the crowds shouldn't be a problem - it will just be more crowded that day at MK than it would be on a recommended day.

I would change if it is not difficult to do so and won't mess up other plans. I doubt it would be much trouble to make the changes this far out. Attending the recommended parks is not always my priority but I give it consideration and will go for it when I can fit it in with other objectives.

Honestly no...I would not change. If crowd levels are a 2 I wouldn't pay attention to recommended parks at all. That being said I looked at those calendars and realized that each of the first 4 trips I took were during 8-10 crowd levels and I still got to do everything I wanted so .... Lol. I wouldn't worry too much about it at all if I were you
