I have a vacation set already for 10/28-11/6 with no dining plan but have been considering changing to September dates to get free dining plan. Have any of you been to WDW in September? How hot was it? Was it miserable hot and rainy? Anything over 85 is super hot to me, very uncomfortable, but can't find ACTUAL daily temps for September 2010 on any website that doesn't charge a fee.

Mousesavers website does show the last 2 years that free dining has been offered for my October dates but it didn't get offered until July. So I could hold out and possibly get FD for my original dates.

It will be 2 adults and 3 tweens that don't do very well in extreme heat so I am not sure what to do.

Go here and put in your dates and orlando and it will give you avg temps humidity etc based on previous years.

I would not change my dates in fact I was booked for September and changed to October.
September is hot and humid and depending when you go the love bugs are out. On the plus side crowds and lines are low. But if you hate the heat I would not switch my dates.

Thanks for that link. It does appear that there are a lot of nearly 90 degree days still in September. That's not gonna work for me. lol.

That is how I felt once I started researching the weather, I decided I rather be a bit cooler I know I will enjoy myself more, we have gone in August twice and I do not do well in sweltering heat.

Did Free Dining the last week of Sept. in 2007 & 2009. It is VERY HOT & HUMID!!! We never had much rain but a sprinkle 1 day.

It looks as if the new offer will have a long time to book. The Visa date to book by is well into Aug. If the GP book by is the same, I would wait to see whether it comes out for your dates, if they are historically offered by July then that gives you room ro wait and see if it's offered for your dates first. That being said, we're going in Sept.

HATED the last week of September last year. The heat and humidity absolutely ruins a vacation for me. I had already booked for Sept this year, and I actually came home and re-booked in October, and I gave up free dining to do it. Now I'm waiting for a discount.

done both, September is still very much Summer in Florida, I am going Sept this year, heat doesn't bother me or DH......but I am not a park commando either, been there done that in the kid's younger years...DS doesn't like Disney:scared1::eek: He loves Universal! Like father like son, but DH is going to Disney because he and DS are going to Canada fishing for a week without me  and I "let" him buy a new bass boat :rotfl:This trip to Disney is an adult's trip anyways....October is hot too, but less than September.............not as much rain. If you can't stand the heat, stay away from Florida in September!::sick: My SIL is there now, it was 100 degrees yesterday she said, lol:scared1::headache:
