Would You Cancel This?

3.5 weeks ago I called Happy Limo and placed a reservation over the phone for a Hummer limo. They told me that I would get an e-mail confirmation within 48 hours. 1.5 week later no confirmation so I called again. They couldn't find my reservation so I made a completely new one. That was 3 days ago. Yesterday (which would have been at the 48hr mark) I sent them an e-mail asking for a confirmation e-mail and well it's now after 8pm going on day 4 and I still haven't gotten anything.

DH says that I shouldn't worry, but I don't have a very good feeling about this. I have read a lot more good things about Happy than I have bad. Should I be worried? Should I cancel the reservation?

They do have our credit card information. If I can't get them to send me a confirmation for the reservation, how am I supposed to get a confirmation that they have cancelled my reservation?

(PS) I went with Happy because FL Tours didn't have a limo big enough to fit all of our luggage. If it matters, we are staying at OKW and our dates of travel are 8/23-8/28
 
I don't know about the Hummer Limo, but I do know that your regular hummer has less luggage space then an SUV!

Personally I would cancel if I had to spend much time trying to confirm a "service" (It's not a service if I do all the work LOL!)
 
See, now they told me that we would have no problems taking all of our luggage. This whole thing is dh's idea. I think it's a terrible waste of money. I don't know how to talk him out of this and into just a van or better yet - ME!!!!
 
They might. I don't know about the Limo.

My SIL had to sell her hummer because everything wouldn't fit. They bought a Tahoe LOL!

When I first was investigating towncar services to WDW from airport, I too read up on the boards and saw that happy limo was recommended. I sent several emails requesting price information and never received any reply.

Now this is just me but if a company never sends out your confirmation, then you call and they have no information about your existing reservation, you make another one and have yet to receive that confirmation, I would drop them like a bad habit.

There are other limo services out there that will be glad to have your service and will treat you in a professional manner.

I think there are too many other services out there to "beg one to send a confirmation".
 
I would cancel as well. The company that I use always sends me an email confirmation within 48 hours, usually within 24 hours. I agree with the PP who said there's no service if you are doing all the work. I am sure you are spending a big chunk of change on the Hummer Limo. I would rather have that extra money for a Mickey bar (or ten):mickeybar
 
I am going to cancel the reservation today. I have talked dh into taking ME! Thank goodness. I have been fighting to do this from the get go. I agree that there are better ways to spend our $$.
