Would you accept this bill?

 Um, no. Not a chance.

When I worked in retail, if we got any bills larger than a $20 we looked them over very carefully, and were taught how to look for counterfiets.

Didn't Fashionbug have one of those pens to see if it was a counterfiet? If not, they should invest in them.

If I were the one paying with that bill I'd have had a VERY hard time keeping a straight face.
They would have caught me red handed and only because I was laughing my butt off........

hard to believe someone was that uh..........un-informed.....LOL that they'd accept that bill!

My oh my oh my......*shaking my head in disbelief*

I know when i worked retail any bill $20 and higher was tested with the pens. Caught several conterfiets. However i would have never taken a $200 bill!

Originally posted by mom2alix I can't believe anyone would take this seriously, yet more than one person in more than one state has accepted one of these as payment and provided change????

Are people really that STUPID? At least this didn't happen in Texas :) Who needs professional counterfiet bandits when we have clerks like this?

I would have loved to have seen the front of this bill-with W's picture on it...

If someone is too stupid to realize there is no such thing as a $200 bill, they are probably too stupid to know how to work a pen.

I dont accept any bill, but they still keep sending them

OMG are you kidding me??

If any of my employees we stupid enough to even get to the point that they use the counterfeit detector pen on a $200 bill I would get rid of them.

I can't believe they are that dumb

My best friend used to take Canadian quarters and dollars all the time in her job.. too bad she was in the US!!! I never got tired of her boss saying- Jenny, you could take them if you knew the rate of exchange!

There was a story recently where someone tried to pass off a
$1,000,000 bill at a Walmart. They bought about $3,000 worth of stuff, tried to pay with a $1,000,000 bill and expected change.

If I hadn't read it I wouldn't have believed it.

I had the opposite problem. Ever try to spend a $2 bill? One time that was all I had (pretty soon after they started printing them again, DH thought they were cool and I somehow ended up with some in my wallet) and the person behind the counter called the manager who called mall security. I think I was trying to buy something to drink. FINALLY the guy in charge of mall security said "you've got to be kidding me, you are wasting my time and harassing this woman because you are too stupid to know that there are actually $2 bills?" I swear, I thought I was going to jail for trying to buy a smoothie!
