We are booked for a 4 night Disney Dream cruise in April. Those obviously leave on Monday so we booked a flight getting in Saturday...we were going to do a couple days in Disney and a couple days after the cruise.

Now I'm contemplating the 7 night again, but our flight gets in on Saturday at 1:30. Would thatbe cutting it too close as far as getting on the ship. I don't want to pay change fees (jet blue) and besides I got awesome airfare.

Would it be a stupid move? Should I just stick with the 4 night and my very safe arrival plan?

It would be too close for me.
If there is a delay, you could be late.
I learned my lesson when a plane had to turn around and go back for a defective part and it took 3 hours.
I always go in the day before now.

IMO, that's a little too close for my comfort. If there were any issues at all with your flight (delayed take-off for whatever reason, plane malfunctions, too many planes landing at MCO, weather), you quite likely won't make it to the port. The all aboard for the Fantasy is 3:45. With a 1:30 arrival (as long as your flight is on time and can get a gate right away) that gives you 2 hours to get your bags and make it to the port.

while jet blue has a great on time history it could still be a bit close. if everything goes as planned and you do their luggage pick up you could do it but it is chancy.
something to think about….. good luck.

Yeah, I'm thinking it will stress me out too much. Better stick with the original plan. We are hoping we love cruising and plan on booking a placeholder for a 7 night before disembarking.

That's enough time to make it if your flight is on time. It kind of comes down to your risk aversion factor. Best case is you make it with little time to spare, worst is you miss the boarding and have to fly to the first port of call. Jet Blue's change fees are variable ($75 - $150 per person), they might be a reasonable expense in exchange for peace of mind. I'm just suggesting considering that because the 7 day cruises are AWWWWWE-SOME.
