With TGM on sale for $17, I was considering giving it a shot. But would it help much for a Dec 11-16 trip? I mean, it's already low season and I have a good feel for choosing park days and ride strategies from these boards.

I read this board and allears.

I have 2 UG books, Birnbaums, and Passporter.

I still have found great information and handy planning tools on TGM. It was well worth the money.

You may not "need" it for a trip at a slower time of year, but I still think it is helpful enough to be worth more than $17. Think of it this way, it's less than $3 per month to have access to a website with a lot more Disney info to read.

We're going to be there Dec 3rd to the 12th. It's never been crowded during that time of the year, but now I'm getting worried!

The trend seems to be moving towards crowds no matter what time of year it is. So I'm going to get the book, just incase.

Me too, I am getting really worried seeing how many other people will be there early December as well, and every time I go to a park thinking that it should be "slow", I am always surprised at why it is so crowded. So now, I always think that it will be busy no matter what time of year to prepare myself. To me, TGM is really helpful, that way I am not disappointed if it is busier than usual. It is great to have extra info to read too!

Michelle2,

What a sweet family picture with Pooh! Smiles on everyone - that's one to treasure!

I think TGM is valuable no matter when you travel. We were there in January a couple years ago and still ran into crowds, but avoided long waits due to TGM.

Does my unofficial guide I purchased at Barnes and Noble give me the same tips that TGM gives?

How do you get TGM for $17? I didn't see this on the homepage.

Sure, there's some information common to both, but they also have different tips and info. There are also some things that they disagree on.
I had read the UG cover to cover and I still found TGM to be worth the money. I like having advice from both.

I posted this on the other TGM thread, but in case you did not see it, I thought I should put it here. Themouseforless has a 5 dollar off code right now. It expires pretty soon though.

HTH

We aren't going to be visiting WDW until June of 2006. Can I subscribe to this now and be able to use the info for the next year or do I need to wait until closer to our trip to subscribe? Thanks!

You can subscribe to it now, and have access to it until two months after your vacation, even if you aren't going for over a year. Actually, I think you can purchase it more than two years out.

I used it for my trip last month and renewed it before we even left home!!!! Now I'm good to go till Feb, 2008!!! And I got $4 off for renewing!!!

I will NEVER go to the Mouse House again without Mike!! YEAH TGM!!!!!

That's when I'm going and I subscribed months ago.
