Would this concern you?

Do you have a December use year? That could explain the way it shows, since it crosses use years. But I would call member services to be sure the reservatoins are linked.

Were you on the waiting list for that last night? As I understand it, when your waiting list cleared for that night MS would book it as a separate reservation, but linked to your other reservation. Whatever the reason for the separate reservations, I would call MS to be sure the reservations are linked.

Absolutely I'd call MS if this concerns you. Yes, you'll have to check out and check back in at the front desk, and get new key cards. We had to do this once before and you're right - major PITA!! If it were me, I'd rather straighten it out now than have to wait at the front desk when checking in.
Good luck!

Just had this happen with reservation for DD and when I called MS they said the reservations are linked. She arrived there sometime last night around 10pm so haven't talked to her yet but hope that is what happened. In this case it was due to a waitlist coming through but since you didn't have a waitlist and if you made the reservation all on one call I would definitely give MS a call to make certain they link them.

Here's another theory: did you book this reservation day by day? Maybe when you booked that last night, instead of modifying your existing reservation and extending it by one more night the MS CM created a new reservation.

My question is....how did you manage to view your vacation details? I haven't been able to do this since...well, I can't even tell you when. It is so annoying.

The trick is to visit the Annual Dues page before you try to bring up the Vacation Details page.

Log in to the DVC member site. Over on the right, under "My Membership", click on "My Vacation Points". When that page loads, over on the left, click on "Annual Dues". Once that page loads, click the "Back" button on your browser to go back to the "My Vacation Points" page. Then click the "View Vacation Details" link.

A slightly faster approach if you are using Internet Explorer: from the "My Vacation Points" page, hold down the Shift key and click on "Annual Dues" to bring that page up in its own window. Once it loads, just close that window and go back to the "My Vacation Points" window. Then click on the "View Vacation Details" link. This is a little faster because you don't have to reload the "My Vacation Points" page.

The members' site is accessible again if you want to give it a try. Good luck!

I am still getting the "500 Internal Server Error" yikes...

I did 3 reservations in Feb....points for a week, then cash for the weekend, then points again. We had them all linked. Same with October, we had 2 reservations, since we had to waitlist for 2 nights. They do tell you when you book that there is always a possibility you have to move, but I never had to go check out and then check back in....it was treated as one reservation for us. Even our room cards with charging crossed over the whole stay and we had one charge at the end of the stay.

I think as long as they link them, you are fine and will not have to check out then back in.
