I am getting ready to purchase the special tickets for next year, my daughter will be 3 when we go but she really doesn;t go on anything, would they check her real age or should i just buy the ticket for only $85. i know its not alot of money but it doesn't make sense to pay the same as an adult when she's to young and scared to go on anything. anyone else have this problem? thanks

rules are rules, its called "theft of services". not really any different than sticking a stuffed animal down your pants and walking out with it, that of course is "product theft" in both cases you are getting the benefit of something for free that you are supposed to pay for. no judgement about it, just the facts.

Yes, it would be bad of you. It's called stealing. Those of us who pay for our tickets would appreciate it if you would pay for yours, also.

Our 8 and 10 year olds are too scared to go on many of the attractions at IoA. We know we can either go someplace they will ride all the rides or we can pay for their ticket to get in. It would not occur to us to think we should not have to pay for their tickets. If they go, they pay. If we don't want to pay, we don't go.

BTW, wingding is either being sarcastic or is unaware of how things really work at the turnstiles. His or her information is incorrect. And I'm no 'morality cop'. The OP asked, we answered.

Just to add, that telling yourself that this child doesn't go on many rides does not justify anything. The major parks in Orlando give NO discounts to handicapped or seniors who do not go on rides either. Or people too scared or sick or anything else. They also do not discount when the lines are so long that it is difficult to get on more than 2-3 major rides in day, etc.

But, I am not angel, not perfect myself, so do whatever you wish.

What if I said my DD and I want matching T shirts, they both cost $20, Hers is a lot smaller, so it isn't fair that they are charging the same price. People commit murder everyday, so does that make bank robbery OK in your eyes. After all until the cops stop the murders, why shouldn't you just go rob a bank?

I too do not beleive that it is okay to cheat, lie, steal and to set a good example for our children but I'm sorry comparing murder, burglery, etc to a 3 year old entering the parks without a ticket is unfair.

What is the age limit anyway? If a 3 year old doesn't classify I don't know what the point would be to have age limits at all.
