My parents live in Florida and they may be joining us in Disney this year with us. My parents do not eat "fancy" meals, they are in their sixties, they like plain stuff and eat very little and are frugal. I made our ADR's including CRT which of course I paid in full. My parents have NEVER been to CRT. We have ressies for three-my DH, myself and our 4yo daughter, and we went last year for the first time. Could I if I so choose, let my parents go with our daughter in place of me and my DH and he and I go to a counter service? I mean, I paid for it and if I want to let my parents go in my place I think I should be allowed to do that.

Do you think their will be an issue? My parents would be thrilled to get their picture taken with Cinderella and their precious Princess grand baby and eat in the castle.

I don't see why that would be a problem. They will have the confirmation number with them and just have to give your name as the name on the ressie. :thumbsup2

Well, it is already a prepaid event and you just give your name or your reservation # which was given at the time you made the reservation or both, I guess depending on whoever is there helping you. We didn't have to show ID or anything like that. We just said our name and they had it in the system so I don't think it should be a problem at all. It is all tax and gratuity included so I think it should be alright. I hope they all have fun. CRT breakfast was one of the BEST breakfast we had @ Disney! The princess interaction, the wishing ceremony and the food was AWESOME-YUMMERS!!! We loved CRT:thumbsup2

The problem with CRT is that the person whose name is on the reservation would probably need to be there for checking in. You may need to either change the name on the reservation to your parents' or go with them to check in and send them in.

I was going to be there just in case, have them check in and then when I saw them step in the castle doors, DH and I where going to go on our merry way to one of the counter services.

I just want to say this is very sweet of you. Especially considering how hard we all know it is to get into CRT. This should be quite special for them.

That is very nice of you! It will be a special memory also for your daughter to have of her grandparents. It should not be any problem. Really, your mom can just give your name, it's not like they ask for ID when you check in.

When I made ADR's for CRT for April of 2007, I was told by Disney Dining to bring a photo ID to check in. I can't remember if they asked for it when we checked in at CRT though. To be safe, you should probably have your ID with you and check your parents and DD in, then go off on your merry way. What a special thing to do for your parents and DD. I'm sure they will treasure those pictures and memories.
