Would this be a good addition to WDW??

Yes,
Between the Pirate ship and the Battlements in the PoTC ride. That or somewhere in the Mexico Pavilion boat ride at Epcot.

Right now there's not a good place to put it. The concept is great but unless they build a 5th park along the lines of CA I don't think you would fit in.

So what's wrong with that?

Yeah, it would be great but WDW won't even run Fantasmic every night anymore so why would they do this?:confused3Not being argumentative manning, I can't wait to get to Cali to see this (this winter) but ...

That may be a good place to put it. Cost wise it may be cheaper to run than Fantasmic.

It's not warranted when 2 of the 4 current parks are just 1/2 day affairs. Imagine the ticket prices should they build another gate!!!

The sentiment was similar about DCA and then they added this show, and the attendance went up 20% and there have been crowds all day in the parks since its opening. Maybe a great night show will may out one of WDWs parks and further the need for a 5th gate.

I think the most obvious answer is jazzing up Illuminataions. Unfortunately I think the world showcase lake might be a little to big to do this.
There's the pond in MGM (might be too small?) but that would then compete with Fantasmic anyway.
I guess you could do it at AK but I dont think that would mesh with the theme that well. Probably best setting would be DS or Epcot followed by MK then far last AK.

There really isn't a suitable body of water in a current park for this, if there is a 5th park, I'd hope it would have something original and not a clone, though this is a wonderful show without a doubt.

One area that really needs a show like this is Animal Kingdom. They need to build the Beastly kingdom Land first (Dragons, unicorns and Fairies) but that's another story. Animal Kingdom really needs a night time show. It's the only one of the four parks without one. Obviously they would need to build a new show area for it. It is a perfect night time show for AK because they cant use any fireworks or explosions due to the animals. My second choice would actually be Downtown Disney. It would be a big draw and give it the "magic" you can't get at the other retail districts in the area. I'm sure the retailers would love it and it looks like they are already going to make a mini copy of the WWoC viewing area at the new Hyperion Wharf:;)

DL has two parks. WDW has what? 6? 3 hotels vs. what? 167? This is just apples and oranges. Add to this the fact that DCA was pretty much just horrible on all levels so any quality addition would be bound to give this result. If you'll remember the "Main Street Electrical Parade" was a huge, huge draw for DCA as well.

MSPE didn't cause the attendance to jump. By your comments it appears you don't know what is happenind at DCA. In April I suggest you look at attenance levels for Disney Parks in 2009 and compare to 2010.

lol.

The Fantasmic lagoon at Hollywood Studios would work IMHO if they expand it at the expense of the large waterway outside the permimeter that the Friendship boats traverse.... it is really really wide there..they could shrink it quite a bit and still allow the boats to depart from there...just my 1/2 pennies worth.

Whats that one place called......hmm its on the tip of my tounge......oh yes! That place Downtown Disney, you know with the rather large body of water, and viewpoints with nothing to view. Yea, it could possibly work there.
