Would they let you make ADRs if the restaurant is closing?

I'm getting a little nervous about our ADRs in Italy. I know they say the restaurant there is temporary and will close in the spring, but they let me make ADRs in May. Has anyone heard anymore about when it is closing?

It won't be a big blow to us if it's closed, I'm just wondering if they would let you make ADRs if they knew it was closing? I guess technically May is still Spring so maybe the restaurant will still be open? I'm just trying to figure out our plans for the week and I think we won't go to Epcot that night if we can't eat in Italy.

Yes, they will until such time as the date of closing if officially announced.

However, if they do close down a restaurant they will make sure that you have a reservation for somewhere else. And if it is necessary to do this they will usually try to contact you as far in advance as possible to give you your choice of restaurants.

I heard that when they closed down Alfredos some of the people were able to get booked into LeCellier even though it was closed for regular reservations.

I had ADRs one time at a restaurant and read that during the time my ADR was for, the restaurant was closed for refurbishment. I called and sure enough, they were closed for refurbishment. So I have no idea if they would have ever called me or not. I just happened to read it on either allears or mousesavers.

I have ADRs there for both my May and my Sept trip.
