would they let us park early at Desert Inn or park late at Hojo?

I am booked at Desert Inn and Suites for April. However, I may change that to stay at Hojo for first 3 nights and Desert for last 3 nights (ent. rate is only good for first 3 nights at Hojo, and if we switch hotels after that it would save us $120). I am just worried about where to park our car with luggage after we check out of Hojo, if we can't check into Desert Inn that early in the day.

You can leave the car at HoJo after checkout.

But you know that with hotels you can checkin early, you just might not get a room. So you could very likely certainly drive over to Desert, check in, and then come back later for your room assignment.

Thank you. I really hate the hassle of changing mid-trip, but I would love to save the $40 a night for at least the first 3 nights.

Be sure to keep checking day-by-day with Hojo for the entertainment rate. That rate popped up for me 3 days before my January trip. Sadly it was too late for me to cancel the Carousel (I didn't realize I had a 72 hour cancellation with Carousel or I would never have tortured myself by checking that late), but it did pop up very late in the game!

So if you don't want to switch, just keep checking up until it's too late to cancel with the Desert Inn.

The Desert Inn and Suites has Lockers for your luggage. They are on the small side but it worked for our "take on board the plane" size suitcases. We needed 3 lockers. For 3 people. After we checked out it was so nice to know our luggage was safe while we went back to Disneyland for 3 hours before going to the airport!!
