Would love tips on handling current weather/humidity

well I arrive on Saturday, staying till the following saturday. In NJ this year we had what I have been describing as a "California Summer" low 80's temps.. low humidity and the need for a light jacket many nights. It's only fitting I get a NJ summer when I visit CA! ugh... m

So do they sell those misting sprays at Disneyland somewhere? I can't find them anywhere here in Utah. And what about a great sun hat for a six yr old.

Also does anyone know what kind of effect this heat has on crowds. From what i'm reading online it's going to be a lot busier from 15-19 (sept) then I originally anticipated.

Misting fans are sold on site and most hotel shops for about 16-17 bucks buy might be much cheaper at the local Target. We arrived Tuesday and the parks have been empty. To give an idea at 230 pm there were still FP for RSR left for a 515-615 return. We walked onto most everything today with no more than a 20 minute wait at worst at Grizzly River which is a great cool down.

Other tips because it WILL be hot : Do not forget sunscreen and reapply often. I can't tell you the number sunburned kids and adults I've passed.

Make sure everyone has a hat. It may not seem like much but it makes a huge difference.

Stay hydrated. I can't stand normal water typically but I've been forcing myself often.

Duck into air conditioned areas. GCH lobby was frigid today and it felt so good. Aladdin, innoventions, animation academy, pool/hotel time can be a lifesaver. We decided last minute stay on site and regardless where you do the midday break has been a great break from the worst hours of the heat.

September unfortunately while it can be lower crowds can also be extremely hot which is often overlooked. The best advice is to go early, knock out stuff early that are musts so you can make time to keep cool and comfortable as possible.
