What does a waterpark day shared with another park really look like? Is there enough time to do something like MK-WP-MK? Is that a lot of time wasted? I ask because I don't trust my own travel time estimating and how worn out we might get (family of 4 incl. 2 tween boys). We've done it once where we went to the WP at open for 3 hours, then resort to rest, then dinner, then MK. That was pretty good. Was wondering what others' experiences are with getting some WP time in!

I think MK - WP - MK would be pretty tough. We like to go, go, go but I think that would wipe us out.

Water park in the morning and then another park in the evening is very do-able though...

I agree! I'm always surprised at how tired a partial day at a waterpark makes me. I usually get there right when the waterpark opens, and stay until 2:00-ish. Maybe it's walking up all those stairs, or being in the sun without a break. But I'm usually pretty wiped out by early afternoon!

I'd go back the the room to rest, take a shower, then head to another park around 5:00 or 6:00.

Last trip we did opening at TL, stayed until apx. 3:30pm then headed back to Dolphin. After showering and brief rest we headed to MK for dinner at Plaza then park touring and Wishes. I think MK was open till 11pm that night.

At TL we staked out our spot right away then went to do slides and lazy river before it was crowded, worked great. Then we rested at our chairs for about 30 min and had lunch. After lunch we did another lazy river but it was too busy so we did wave pool and sunning. Had a frozen drink before heading out, great day!

Waterpark at opening. The lines will be short first thing. We usually do TL and will do the wave pool the lazy river later.

I think a solid half day after the waterpark would work at any major park. We could probably close out DAK with FP+ after a waterpark morning when the park is open until 8PM.

Depending on the time of the year and the park hours it may be tough to do more than WP-MK. We went to TL in October from opening to about 1:30ish, back to room to rest a little, grab a late lunch early dinner and then on to MNSSHP for a 4:00PM entrance. Worked out great.

Are you driving? I still think that would be a lot, but driving would be the only way I'd attempt it.

Oh, and it would be very hard for me to get my kids out of a waterpark after 3 hours! We always arrive at RD (10) and stay 'til 3 or 4.

On our next trip we plan on going to TL at opening and leave around 2:00 and go to Epcot around 4:00 that has EMH until 11:00. I hope we dont get to worn out from swimming. I dont think I would do MK-WP-MK that would be exhausting.
