Would like to parasail with my daughter

Has anyone ever parasailed with a child? I would like to go with my daughter (age 9). Can someone describe how we will be situated? Will she be in front of me to the side or ?

Also, how will we launch and land? Is there a platform? (I've only done this once and that was at the Bahamas.) Will we get wet on take off or landing? I was thinking of wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

How big is the boat? Will I be able to bring the rest of my family 2 boys and hubbie to watch? I want to make sure I have someone available to take pictures as this may never happen again!!

Thank you in advance. I'll just need to get my nerve up...but I bet the views are unbelievable up there.

I am also going to do this with my daughter in August.
From what I have read, your DD will be in front of you. They are kind of like two seats, with the front one being lower down.
It is supposed to be a very easy process, the taking off and landing. From what I understand, you can have them dunk you in the water when you come down if you want.
This is just what I have read.
Can anyone who has actually done it verify?

I'm doing the premium plan in 2 weeks and have a lot of water sports booked. They told me on the phone that they are unable to "dunk" anymore. Apparently Disney prohibits dunking.

Good - because I wouldn't want to be dunked!

Thanks for the link...it looks like there are two versions of parasailing...450 feet and 600 feet. Anyone have an experience with both? I'm thinking 450 would be high enough!
