Would like some opions/advice

We are heading for the world on 9/22 for our second trip this year . I've been reading all the post when it comes to EMH and boy there have been some horror stories. Now I found out on 9/23 MK has EMH for that day.
My question is does anyone think it will be as crowded as it has been in the past?

Congratulations. We are not going til Christmas when grandkids get out of school.

Personally, I think you can get a lot done in that extra hour and since it looks like you are staying at a resort I would definitely take advantage of it. If you don't get there for the EMH, then I wouldn't bother going to MK that day as it will be more crowded.

I'm hoping September EMH's won't be too crowded!!! I guess we won't know for another month or so if the kids going back to school is helping ease the crowds, it would be nice to know for planning our days!

We'll be there around the same time (arriving 9/20). We're keeping our fingers crossed that it won't be too bad. The crowds are usually very low around this time. We've gone in September for the past 4 years and have no complaints. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is that fact that they recently extended the free dining plan through the beginning of October, so I'm sure that will cause an increase in the crowd sizes (these will be resort people that qualify for the EMH since you have to stay at WDW to get the dining plan)

Looks like we'll just have to wait it out. I plan to keep a close eye on the Disboards in the couple of weeks before we leave to hear what people are saying about the crowds. Good luck! We'll be right there with you.

One piece of advice I heard on these boards that I plan on trying was to plan on going to a particular park the morning after the EMH (evening), since many people will have just been there late the night before and will give it a rest. We'll see....
