Would-Be Robber Beaten In Robbery Attempt!

In Missoula, a would-be robber entered a 'fantasy store' with a gun and a ski mask in an attempt to rob it! The clerk gathered the money together as the 'robber' pulled the gun hammer back as if he were going to shoot the clerk.....when the clerk noticed there were no bullets in the gun!

The clerk, who appears to be a college student, then jumped the counter, grabbing the gun from the guy and proceeded to beat him with it! The 'robber' was lucky to get out of there with his life and they are now putting out a description of a badly beaten 'attempted' thief!

This fits into one of those 'stupid criminals' categories! In Montana, if you perform a crime with a gun the punishment is substantially higher! Not only did he get beaten up, when he is caught, his nightmare will really begin!

I have a tendency to freeze up when I am frightened....I'd probably get shot if a robber came to rob me at work! I doubt I could even move to open the cash register!!
