Would 11A Disney Magic be best GTY category for three beds?

We are booked on one of the Greek cruises next year and will be a party of three, mom and two teen daughters who do not want to share beds. I changed from an 11 B as I saw they can be on deck 5 which has an entire section that only sleeps three. Would most of the 11As also have the pull down bed? We actually do not want to be upgraded to a deluxe inside as most are on the lower decks and many forward or aft. 11As are more likely to be midship and are all on decks 6 and 7, closer to the teen clubs as my girls mainly use the stairs. Would Disney look at the fact the party was not a couple and child but three separate passengers when assigning rooms?

Disney only looks at the number in the cabin and the number of sleeping surfaces - and yes, the queen bed counts as 2 surfaces.

As was discussed in the former thread about could a GTY be upgraded, when you book GTY you give up the kind of location and bed number control you are wanting. I get that it is a mostly sold out cruise, but for the specifics you are wanting, you really should not be GTY.

Totally agree with @Dug720. A GTY is not a good choice for you since you want a specific location and a specific number of beds. A 11A GTY booking gives Disney the freedom to put you in any cabin that sleeps at least 3 that is an 11A or higher...anywhere on the ship.

I was actually wondering what percent of category 11A had the upper bunk vs the 11Bs. I am aware you get what you get. This is my tenth cruse. On all the other sold out /nearly sold out cruises I been on, peoples tend to bail close to PIF and actual rooms become available or upgrade from an inside. I think for many this was the only category they could initially grab. We were originally booked for Hawaii and people grabbed reservations because they were hard to get. Many have already cancelled. Not sure about Europe cruises but this in is very $$$$$ so may happen.
