Worth Two in the Bush

This cute little female downy woodpecker accidentally flew in through one of the windows in my minivan over the weekend and needed a little help getting back out.

I think she was either exhausted or stunned, but she let me carry her out and set her free. Of course, first I had to take a couple of pictures ... how often does this happen?
