I've just decided to head to Disneyworld for Spring Break. We'll be there 4/5 - 4/12. Of course, this is the week before Easter and things are packed.

I have always had such problems getting ADRs that I'm not even sure it is worth trying at this late date? We;ll be a group of 6.

I'm considering going for just one for the first night we get there -- and try for a resort restaurant that we have never visited. Maybe Animal Kingdom or WL.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

No one here can tell you for sure whether or not you will be successful. Why not call Disney Dining right now and see if they have room at the restaurants you would like?

Good luck!

We went last year around this time with a party of 6 and still got some good ADR's and we booked are trip 3 weeks out.

Whispering Canyon Cafe
Teppen Edo
Crystal Palace(dinner)
1900 Park Fare(dinner)
Princess Stroybook Breakfast(Norway)
Coral Reef (dinner)

We are a party of 7 staying the week after you- I just made 2 ADR's yesterday (02/06/09) I am pretty flexible about when we eat where- But I got the two I asked for w/ no prob 1st try- I still have 2 more to make and am having a problem deciding- I am prepared w/ a back up plan just in case the one we "really" want is not available- It is our first visit so we will be happy getting any of the many restaurants we are planning for- Eventually we hope to try all Or at least most... LOL
Good Luck - but yes, call NOW!

Give it a shot. Last year my neighbor had no idea she had to make ADR's the week of Easter. I helped her call the night before she left and she actually got some pretty decent ADR's. I say call and at least try.

It's always worth a try. The worst thing that could happen is that you don't get any. And then you're back where you are now--no harm, no foul. :)

I think it is definitely realistic to get into the resturaunts you like but I would recomend calling right away and first thing in the morning. I called today for our trip (we are going the same week you are going) and my family was able to get ADR's for the majority of resturaunts requested including dinner at Cinderella's Castle and the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Brown Derby. It helps to be flexible with times and days if possible. Good luck.

I'd make out my list of "possibles" for each day and be extremely flexible and make a call to Disney Dining ASAP. I think you'll be surprised at what you can get! Don't forget about visiting the resorts. There are some great restaurants in some of the resorts.

Enjoy your trip!!!:cheer2:
