Yes,I would book them now.My friends werent able to go last August as were all sold out,

Lynn

Book them as soon as possible. As for the best day it doesn't matter as they only let up to 1000 people in each day so it doesn't get crowded like the other parks can.

Best days are a Saturday or Sunday as the other parks are busiest then so best to avoid them and go to DC where it is limited to 1000 people a day :)

We are going this March and have got all our attraction tickets through attraction tickets 4 less. They were very helpful and the cheapest.Hope this helps. We are going to Discovery Cove on the tuesday. If anyone has been before please let me know what it's like.Thanks. :earsgirl: ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

We have been to DC three times, twice for the swim and once for Trainer For A Day, anything you want to know ask away.

I would def book now as they can sell out. Best day to go are the days when you think the other parks will be busy, as they limit the number of people that can go in.

As others have said, definitely book now if you can - you will have your choice of day, and there is no benefit in waiting - plus the $ rate is relatively high at the moment, so it should cost you less.

I would also consider the weekend, because the other parks are likely to busier on these days.

You will love it - it's a really special place. Just make the most of everything while you're there - there is a lot to see and do, but you can easily do it all in a day.

do you book direct with them?
is there a phone number , or can you book on line?
or do you book through a ticket agency?

thanks

Does anyone know how far in advance you can book..we don't want to go this year, but the prices in general being offered are much cheaper than in 2004 when I last took a look !

However, we do want to go on our next trip and thought we might be able to take advantage of the good rates by booking this year. :confused3

Hi,

I would book as soon as possible yes - best place for theme park tickets is in Kissimmee.
www.mapleleaftickets.com
Excellent friendly service, discounted prices, issue actual tickets not vouchers, can collect from their shop or will ship at low cost to the UK.
Highly recommend them.

what is the 'Trainer for a Day" program?

Beth,
Trainer For A Day is limited to about 30 people and then split into groups of 6 -8 people, each group has their own trainer for the whole day. You get to feed the birds in the avaiary, then the regualr interaction with the dolphins. After this its time to feed the fish in the coral reef, the sting rays, and also Sharks!!! You then go behind the scenes to see the food prep area, the training schedule, staff area and also meet some of the other animals such as the sloth, anteater and several of the parrots and also the owls. The day concludes with another interaction with the dolphins and this time you get a double dolphin pull in from deep water to the shore. We got some good pictures with the complimentary waterproof camera, as the trainer will take pics for you at certain locations.

that sounds really interesting!

If you have been to DC before and want something different yes, but if your first time it is a very full day with no time to relax and enjoy the other facilities such as the 'lazy river' or to take your time in the avairy or coral reef.

Claire ;)

If you want I can post a trip report for the TFAD and also the normal DC day.
