Worst WDW Food Experience

H&V is the only one we have decided will not get another shot at our business. The food was basically inedible, the service was worse than poor and the place was an absolute mess. We had been there a couple times before and it was OK, but this last time was a disaster.

Tony's. Had it a few years ago and the food was inedible.

The service at Trattoria Al Forno was terrible.

For us it was 'Ohana breakfast, the food was not bad just the service. After we got our first skillet of food we asked for more juice and the waitress disappeared for about 1/2 hour. When she finally reappeared she brought juice to the table beside us and disappeared again for around 20 minutes. By this point we had 3 thirsty kids and an empty skillet. When she returned, we again asked for more juice and another skillet of food. She grabbed our empty skillet and asked where the tongs were. Since this was our first time there we did not know we were supposed to have tongs for the food and were using the fork from our toddlers place setting because he didn't need it. After finally bringing us our juice and second skillet we asked for the bill because we knew we would probably not get it for awhile. We didn't. I won't say we will never go back their because we liked the atmosphere and the food, but we won't be back for awhile.

BOG - Lunch. They had it over booked we had stick with a cleaning staff to make sure we got the table they were cleaning. Took about 45 minutes to be served a meal that was pre-ordered. My daughters meal was inedible. The apple juice was so watered down, it tasted like water. Never again.

CRT - Portion really small, it was our daughter's birthday, the waiter came to sing to her. Very monotone you could tell he had better things to do. He delivered her crystal slipper as if it was a pizza. The whole experience was a big let down. The characters were rushed. Never again.

I've never had bad service at any WDW restaurant to date, and some of the best food (and service) has been from Le Chefs and Rose & Crown. Though the food wasn't inedible, Liberty Tree Tavern nearly bored my taste buds to death. It was bland school cafeteria fare served in an interesting atmosphere. I won't bother eating there again.

The inedible "Lobster Roll" from Columbia Harbor House. Ewwww, I cannot believe they would even make a "Lobster Roll" like that. I am surprised it is even still on the menu.

What is the worst experience you have ever had with WDW food or a restaurant?

Would have to say it's a 3 way tie between the over priced, poor service of our breakfast at CRT and the just bad food at The Living Seas and Whispering Canyon Café.

Wolf Gang Puck Cafe - blech food, bland, slow service and poor service. Nearly all our other ADRs on DxDDP were superb!

CAPE MAY CAFE!!
I will not go into too much details as I could write 3 pages, but CAPE MAY CAFE was the WORST Disney experience I have had at Disney in the 40+years I have been going to Disney.
My daughter got married on March 26th at The Swan Resort and we had a small party so we made reservations for our party via the Beach Club food general manager well to make a long story short, nothing that we were told was fulfilled once we arrived for our reservation. And then I was charged additional money on my Visa card that I had not approved. After calling Cape May directly several times and emailing Disney guest services several times, I finally received a call back today from the Beach Club General Manager. I am not a complainer, but the service we received was not acceptable and I don't think I will ever go back to this restaurant. My advice is, don't have big expectations because you might have a huge let down.

Worst was this past trip at Columbia Harbour House. I ordered the Shrimp and it was so hard I could not bite into it. Very over fried. I took it back and they gave me the chicken pot pie which was good but needed salt. We also got a free dessert. I went there specifically for the shrimp. Very disturbing since the food is always so good. I will give it another try.

I wasn't a fan of Biergarten. Not keen on sitting at a table to eat with a bunch of stranger . We did this on our honeymoon to Disney world (not realizing that's how it would be) and not sure we will do it again, though my husband loves the German aspect. However, all in ask, not a lot to complain about most of the time with Disney!

The only truly horrible food I've encountered was at ABC Commissary. I've had other meals that weren't great, but the ABC Commisary is so bad that I have no idea how it is able to continue in its state. I guess just too many first time diners that have no idea what they are getting themselves into. I didn't complain, I should have. Maybe more people just need to leave feedback. Thinking back on it, this was around 2006, but it still frequently ends up on worst restaurant lists around here, so it doesn't sound like anything has changed.

The food from the kiosk on the Boardwalk was the worst I have ever had during a recent trip to WDW. We have had food from there before and it has been 'OK'. This time it was downright awful, not one of us managed more than a couple of bites.

Most recently-the service at 'Ohana and the food at Columbia Harbor House (this I can give a pass on because it was during the Keys to the Kingdom tour and I'm sure that having it waiting for us when we got there explains the icy coldness of the food.)

Worst ever overall-Wolfgang Puck Express. I'd heard so many great things about it, but our meal was worse than your average Applebee's as far as service and food quality.

Le Cellier has gone downhill as well.

Wow, you guys must be eating at a different ABC Commissary than the one I ate at! I never had a complaint - in fact, the Cuban sandwich is to die for!

.

I agree with you 100%.... When I had the Cuban sandwich when it was on the menu I did almost die... It was one of the worst things in my life that ever touched my taste buds. :rotfl2:

Did they use to sell a curry and rice dishes there? I seem to recall having a decent one there. Trying to figure out if that's the same restaurant.

I've had two worst experiences. The first was at the Electric Umbrella. The cheeseburgers had a green tint and tasted like cardboard. The cheese on the top was not melted at all meaning that the patty was ice cold when the cheese was added. The french fries were also cold. I will never go back there.

I will also never go back to Le Cellier. We waited to be seated for 30 minutes after we checked in. I overheard the host staff make fun of several of the customers who came in. Several people without reservations came in asking about eating there. The host staff were condescending and rude to them, and then joked about it as they walked away.

We were then seated (party of 2) next to a table that had dinner remnants for 8 people. Dirty dishes and cold food were less than 12 inches from our table. No one cleared that table the entire time we were there (over an hour). Our server was very inattentive to us but spent a LOT of time talking and joking with another large table. I finally had to track down the manager to get our check. At the same time I let him know that I had overheard the host staff say some very inappropriate things about guests as we were waiting to be seated. He just shrugged and did not acknowledge my concern at all. Again, I won't be back.

Coral Reef was terrible. First we waited for an hour after our ADR. We were finally seated and you could tell the waiter did not want to be there and was just generally annoyed by us. My best friend's husband and I ordered the steak. I found a piece of fat / gristle in the middle of mine that looked like a white worm. It was disgusting. When the waiter came over about ten minutes later and realized that we weren't eating the steaks he asked how they were. My best friend's husband responded "Mediocre at best. I have had better tv dinner steaks." We are pretty sure the waiter spit in our desserts. I will never go back.

For me it's Le Cellier. Used to be a must-do for us, but we've only been back once or twice since they became "signature". I love the cheese soup and pretzel bread, but from the long waits to be seated (30-45 min past ADR time), to the cramped seating, to a completely indifferent server on our last visit (she was very attentive to the tables on either side of us, but would walk right past us without even pausing), we won't be going back any time soon.
