Worst Restaurants For A Picky Eater

My picky eater is actually my wife. My 8-year old princess will eat anything (just like Daddy), but Mommy is another story. She has to have burgers plain and actually scrapes the sauce off of a slice of pizza. Even though I still luv her(and after what I saw her do to a perfectly fine slice of pizza the first time, there were doubts) we need to find a couple of places without exotic tastes. And we don't want burgers every night. I've looked at the menus, but has anyone had any luck with good, plain food?

I do that exact same thing to my pizza as well. :thumbsup2 No other way to eat it! Most places should have something she will eat. My oldest daughter will be an adult, on the DDP this time around, so I was worried, but it seemes every place we chose had something she would eat, and she is pretty picky. I'm sure you will have a great time and if all else fails, Mickey Bars are pretty filling! :rotfl2:

Mexico.. bad to begin with, double so if you are picky

Your title said worse though, so that would be it for me

Best would be the buffet style. Chef Mickey is very american style with a bunch of choices. Crystal Palace also.

Buffets will certainly accommodate most people, but since you do not like exotic, do not try Boma (which we like). As to "good plain food" you will want a steakhouse (meat & potatoes) or sandwich shop, or stick with "American" as mentioned, so something like 50s Prime Time might work. FWIW.

Boma and Tusker House and any of the restaurants in the World Showcase.

If you have looked at the menus and you know your wife...of course better than us... you should be able to identify the ones that will work for you. If not, select the buffets...and CS restaurants.

Most, if not all, of the restaurants will let you order the meat plain, without the sauce, or at the very least, you can ask for the sauces on the side and then not use it.

Wat does she like? She can order a burger at Sci-Fi, at lunch or dinner. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans (or you can get corn, unless things have changed) at 50's Prime Time is good. The Garden Grill at Epcot has flank steak, turkey or pork (can't remember which), mac & cheese, etc., and it's all you can eat. Liberty Tree Tavern at the MK has a similar menu for dinner, just good, plain food.

Other than that, buffets would probably be the best bet.

Worst, I'd say Boma and Tusker House, 'Ohana, most of the World Showcase restaurants.

Oh yes, Garden Grill would probably be an excellent choice for her I'm having a similar situation since my mil is going with us next time. The woman has never even tasted raw tomatoes, cooked onions, mushrooms, etc. Says they look "slimy and yucky". It's Hamburger Helper, Kraft Mac-N-Cheese with a can of chicken and plain hamburgers for her. Green beans is as exotic as she'll go. We're in trouble because I am completely opposite.
