WORST place you've gotten stuck on a ride!

We just returned today!!

We had some time to ponder this while being stuck on the TTA for 30min yesterday! We were fortunately stuck in a cool spot inside Space Mountain! We could have been stuck near some bright lights or annoying repetitive recording loop!!!

We layed down in the seat cars. Everyone was making phone calls etc and taking pics. We had a fast pass that we were almost going to miss. They finally came in and had to walk us out along the track and plexiglass wall along SM.

They gave us all fast passes good for any ride at MK. We walked on everything all night (EMH) and it was our last day so we gave them to another couple.

So where have you all been stuck before????

We've gotten stuck in a coldspot on splash mountain! At the end, after we were soaked on a not so hot day and we sat under the blowers! We were FREEZING! I feel your pain for being stuck somewhere!

The worst place I got stuck though (or ever to get stuck) is Space Mountain and it's only because it was for so long. We sat on the tracks for 25 minutes because there was a malfunction of some sort. It was cool to see the lights on though.

Space Mountain at DL in about 1990. My brother and I were on SM when it broke down. Ride comes to a stop in the pitch black...eventually the music/sound goes off, lights comes up. We were sitting there for about 5-10 minutes. When it started up again, in the darkness again, I was petrified!
I don't like roller coasters, but Disney rides I can handle...I think because you *usually* can't see how high up you really are! And when that ride stopped, and the lights were on, you could see all the way down to the bottom! Last time I rode SM on that trip!

Yes, I have gotten stuck at the top of the life hill in Space Mountain. I have gotten stoped on SM before, but not this long. We where sitting atop the life hill for what I estimate to be about 35 minutes before we actually were evacuated. At first, I assumed that it was a little glitch, but soon realized otherwise when all the lights turned on and I saw people leaving through the line. A voice came over a sound system a couple of time re-assuring us that we were safe, and finally, a couple of mech's come walking up the life hill on the emergency steps and they release our restraints and help us down the lift. We actually got to walk down the blue lightspeed tunnel.....and BOY IS IT LONG!!! We were issued 50 Disney Dollars, and 4 "anywhere" use fastpasses. It was quite the ordeal!

at Busch Gardens in Tampa I got stuck on Montu right before the exit...for like 30 minutes! I literaly could have unbuckled myself and walked off no problem

And when that ride stopped, and the lights were on, you could see all the way down to the bottom! Last time I rode SM on that trip!

I was thinking the SAME THING! Isn't it wild to see it in the light?

1972. Not long after the Magic Kingdom opened. Stuck in It's A Small World for around a half hour. I still get flashbacks when I walk past the ride

Got stuck at this one spot on Splash for a good 15 minutes on a not so hot day where anytime a car comes down the chute you get the splash. Even better there's a water fall right next to you that also splashes. My stepdad was mighty wet after that trip Best part is, he forgot all about it and I was able to stick him in the same seat this past trip, which was 3 years later. Wouldn't you know we got stuck there again At least the second time it was hot out
Also on Splash: that spot under the blowers. Right after being stuck in the wet spot on that not so hot day (we had taken our sweatshirts off just to ride and put them back on as soon as we got off). THAT was cold.
Then there's the infamous backup right before you go up the big hill on Splash. Where you're stuck listening to those two birds and the thunder forever We got trapped there for 20 minutes one time.
The scary thing is we go on Splash multiple times each trip. Nope, we don't learn...

We came to a stop on the high bank of Test Track on a very hot day - I was hanging (very uncomfortably!) in my seatbelt smooshing my DH's side for about 15 mins- I told him never again, but of course I was wrong, you forget how miserable you felt right away and can't wait to go the next time!

i've spent lengthy amounts of time stuck on both IASW & POTC....not fun, those songs going over & over again and you couldn't get out even if you wanted to becos you are in a boat....i would say the worst however, was on splash mountain. you know that tiny waterfall the boats go under after making the big drop? it doesn't seem so tiny after you have been sitting directly under it for ten minutes!

Thw WORST place we got stuck on a ride was on Splash Mountain! The ride stopped for some time just as we were about to go down the drop!!! That was pretty scary!...At least we didn't get stuck going down the drop!

On our trip this past November me, my wife, and our two girls were stuck on Test Track right at the begining of the environmental tests. Our car was about 3 quarters of the way in the heat section - boy was it HOT. We were there a good 15 - 20 minutes and were sweating to death. We said that was it for that ride and we weren't going to go on it again - until they said that since we were stuck we could stay on and ride again. Second ride had no problems!

We were stuck for about 45 minutes in the WINDY section of POC right where they keep saying "Dead men tell no tales...." over and over and over ......The worst of it was we were FREEZING!!! The ride started to work and nobody had to be evacuated.

One time I got stuck at the very top of Tower of Terror just as we were about to drop. I was terrified thinking that we were going to go down out of control at any second.

A minute later a voice came on the speakers and told us that there was a problem and that the elevators were under control. A couple minutes later we were informed that they would bring us down slowly. The building lights came on and the elevator began descending slowly. A CM greeted us at the bottom and apologized. He said that those who wanted to leave the attraction could do so and those who would like to ride it properly should follow him.

A few left. A few, including us, chose to ride it again. So he walked us backstage to a real elevator and we went up (I think up) to the loading area where we loaded a new elevator for a proper ride experience.

Having said that, my nightmare involves getting stuck upside down on some roller coaster. I've seen this on the news a few times and the though of it makes me sick.

Wow...we've never been stuck on a ride before. We've been in line while others have been though. My family would never go on It's a Small World again knowing that they could possibly get stuck on it. That would be torture for them but I would be laughing

In the 'tigger' section in Many Adventures of Winne the Pooh..

In the 'white' room in Small world.... HEEEELLP!!!

going down the ride on Spaceship Earth by the scene of 'Mom" singing to her
kid via videophone.... we were a bit wacky about that one...

And then, in the dinosaur room in World of Energy... we had to walk out
under the dino's to an exit -and the Audio-Animatronics were still going, but
the ride vehicles had croaked... strange.....

Nothing serious, though.. and we laughed after all of them...
