There are some very bad parts of going on a Disney Cruise.

We had such a wonderful time it is almost frustrating trying to convey it to others. I just want everyone I know to go on a trip now so they can experience for themselves.

We had such a wonderful time that I can't imagine waiting the planned 4 years to go again.

Getting back to normal life is very difficult.

I just tell everyone that it is worth every penny...what people all relate to is the mighty dollar...so that is what I use. I give them specific examples of why every dollar was worth it-ie seeing the look on BF's face when our waiters pretended to spill coffee on him...or that they took the time to get me a salad from AP when we were dining in PC...people are really amazed when I sum up how great the customer service is...

No worries...I've been off the ship for a month or so and am still trying to get back on!!!

coming home.......
only way to get over the depression? book on board.

going home is the worst!

That's why we do a day at the parks or a day at AKL pool before heading home.

Next year, we'll have to jump off the ship and head to the airport as school will be in session.

BummER!:(

Worst part for me was, getting off the ship!!!

I'm so glad we booked another cruise while onboard!!!

Being dragged, kicking and screaming, off the ship. After, they pried my fingers loose from the railing. Very embarassing for my family.

I totally agree with Andy, the worse part is having to get off the ship!! Why do they make us do that??? Why can't we just stay on forever??

After our first cruise DS#2, who was 5 at the time, said... "Mom, if we don't put our bags out in the hall, then we won't have to leave and we can stay in forever...."

The worse part.is that the cruise will be over.. and I will have to wait a long time to go again..

I have to second the opinion that getting off the ship is by FAR the worst part! I cried like a baby.:( My poor husband I think I embarrased him a little. Bless his heart, he was very sympatheitic though. He just kept reassurring me we could go back someday. Thank goodness it wasnt an empty promise. :D Actually If I had to drag him back on the ship again I would have. :D

Amen!

Seeing my kids being sad and the memories they spoke of as we got off the ship was heartwarming. I knew we gave them a great vacation that they would never forget!

My DS11 broke down after we arrived at MCO and booked a day room at the Hyatt (our flight didn't leave until 6pm). Walking to the room he broke down crying - it took several minutes for him to tell what was wrong! I thought my DD4 gave him a wedgy or something ! He said "I just want to go back!" sobbing

The only thing that made him relax was the the fact that we rebooked on board and instead of a 4 day - we would be on the ship for 7 DAYS!

It took a week before he stopped the "COUNTDOWN" and went on with his sweet life! His mom on the otherhand, kept the countdown going!

But he ALWAYS tells his friends and their parents about his Disney Cruise trip and the moms tell me that he always tells his friends "When you leave, you will cry!"

After a 4 day cruise, a 7 day seems like heaven! Can't wait!

That dreaded feeling waking up on the last day thinking
" this is it !!! " Leaving is definitely the worst part of a Disney
Cruise. I always have to turn around and take 1 more look at that Magical ship before I get in the car and think " I'll be back "

No Rae, actually that was you my dear, the DNA proved it!!! LOL!!!
:hyper: :wave2: :hyper:

Andy - you know I was framed!!!

Actually, the only down side to the DCL is not having Fidelio and the Dueling Pianos venue for evening entertainment. Their family show kept us all laughing and the adult show, well, it was definitely adult entertainment and what a hoot to boot!!!!

Leaving does it for my family too. My DS couldn't even make eye contact with me or my husband when were were getting off the ship. He's too "cool" to cry!! Little did he know I was tearing up as well. That's the one part I am not looking forward to. :(

Leaving always does it for me. I will have to be dragged out, I'm sure. Last time we were at WDW we ended calling the desk to see if we could stay another night!Luckily it was slow and we were able to stay in our room at the Polypirate:

Thanks for covering for me Andy......... that wasn't me on the news............ that's my story and I'm sticking to it :D

Rae....... it had to be you.......... shrimp was falling out of that person's pockets. I like shrimp, but not THAT much !!

How come every time I try to get away with something, I get caught?????

Guess crime doesn't pay.......
