Simply put, which film did you wish you c ould have gotten your $9 (or 2 hours of life) back? It's so bad that you couldn't be PAID to watch it again?

For me:

The Thin Red Line.....hands down, no question. It was unwatchable. People actually got up and left the theatre (never seen that happen before). One firend I was with went to sleep, and another read a newspaper in the lobby.

The Cat in the Hat. And I know no one will agree with me but I absolutely hated Lord of the Rings.

I can't remember the name....it starred Winona Ryder and Richard Gere. They fell in love and she had some kind of heart condition and died. Winona's acting in that movie was atrocious, truly awful.

The Ladykillers and Titanic. Who wrote that drivel anyway? I couldn't wait for the !@#$%^&*() boat to sink and hopefully take those two with it. And I like Kate Winslet.

I forgot Little Man. Saw that one this summer with my uncle and my cousin. My cousin left after about 10 minutes - he couldn't take it anymore; it was THAT bad.

Liar Liar (Jim Carrey). Would've walked out but we were with friends who were enjoying it.

Just saw Independence Day for the first time since it was new and I had forgotten how truly awful that movie is.

Dead Calm ( I think that was it at least) horrible movie.

I actually agree with you on the Cat in the Hat, YUCK.

Groundhog Day, I know, its blasphemy. I just hated it.

Many Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, and most any other actor of that ilk.

Has to be a tie between Joe Dirt and Pure Country. I would pay $$$$$ never to have to see either again. I agree with Titantic too. Please, please, please drown and take Celine Dion with you!!!!!!!!

Date Movie.

My husband and I left the theater, got our money back and went to see Nanny McPhee.

Legally Blonde 2...the only movie I ever wanted to walk out on...but unfortunately, my friend drove.

This is mine too I couldn't leave b/c DH drove and was watching T3 while my friend and I suffered through legally blonde 2

Me, Myself and Irene. I actually walked out of it. Completely horrible!!

I don't know if anyone remembers this movie, Goodburger. My kids wanted to see it badly, so we took him. It was horrible, couldn't wait for it to be over. The kids thought it was funny though.

American Wedding. I am still bitter that I paid cash money to see that idiocy in a theater.

Two get honorable mentions for my having fallen asleep during them: Captain Ron and The Accidental Tourist (the latter was on a very long flight to HI, but I'm still blaming the film).

Ok, this is from long ago. This movie was so bad, I don't think it ever made it to video!!! :lmao: And yes, I had a friend drag me to see it the only weekend it played. Seriously. I think the theaters pulled it by sunday night!

Howard the Duck

Seriously seriously bad. And I even saw Ishtar.

I Spy and Starsky & Hutch. I still can't believe I paid to see these.

Also really bad (but seen on cable) Ace Ventura, Corky Romano, Joe Dirt, Toys, and Life.
