I love the hat! Looks like it belongs there! The "Castle Cake" was awesome too, but I only saw pictures!

I never had the opportunity to see the castle as a cake...not sure what I think about the pics. I think it looks cool, but I'm not sure if that's what I'd want to see when walking down mainstreet usa.

I liked the SSE wand, and I don't mind the hat.

I HATE the Leave a Legacy Tombstones. I don't even think Disney finds them "decorative." I think it's just a way to get you to spend $$$$. They are so hideous, and I never even see people stopping to look at them. No one cares about any picture except their own.

i agree with all you said. i really don't understand the sorcer hat? i thought the water tower with the ears was supposed to be MGM's cinderella castle? lol. yea i know its DHS now but that kinda sounds like the name of a high school doesn't it? like "Go DHS FOOTBALL!" lol

Hey, that is the name(initials) of our highschool!! When I said something about DHS(a.k.a. MGM) to my DD17, she was like what are you taking about, are you crazy? She didn't realize they changed the name. And our football team sucks, unfortunately...

Btw, I'm not crazy about the name change, (probalby partly because of the highschool thing). We both do like the hat, and think it looks cool down the blvd especially at night with palm trees and lights, but covering the front of the theatre is not so great. We both loved the wand and miss it. It added a Mickey touch to that big golf ball looking thing! I think it really looks sort of naked and plain and not magical without the hand/wand. And, the cake castle was cool for one visit, just not forever.

I must say we loved, loved the castle this past holiday season, at night, with those beautiful icicle lights!!! My absolute favorite, it's my cell phone pic so I can see it all the time, and the awesome changing colors, too!! I hope they will do that again this coming holiday season!!
