Worst change in the last 10 years...What do you miss most

1. fiesta family fun center in the contemporary

2. river country

3. 20,000 leagues under the sea

I miss Cranium Command, I always thought that was cute, but I do like that they're using the Wonders of Life for F&W.

I guess I don't really miss anything else. There's some stuff that closed that I never got a chance to see, like Legend of the Lion King. Maybe Ariel's Grotto, since that was such a nostalgic place for me from my first Disney trip, but I'm so excited for the Fantasyland expansion that I don't feel too badly about that.

-Random/rare characters....like the 3 little pigs! We saw them on our honeymoon
-Hunchback show at MGM
I forgot about the Hunchback show! I had really liked that. Do they even use that theater for anything anymore?

And I agree about the characters, I would love to meet some from the movies that came out when I was a teen, including Hunchback and Hercules.

Not sure what's there now...I can't recall where the theater was located. Before Hunchback there was the Pocahontas show!

And when everyone "joins them", it turns planning a Disney vacation into a strategic coordination effort that rivals planning the Normandy invasion.

HA! Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Having recently planned our first Disney vacation, without a doubt ADRs were the most stressful (and confusing) part. They really limit park choices for the day or any chance of spontaneous park decisions.

This theater was unfortunately torn down to make room for the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. I also really miss the Hunchback show. They can keep Lights, Motors, Action! I've never thought much of it, and only go when with someone visiting for the first time.

I think I've answered this before, but I hate the new Blue Line. The voice is different, everything that changed...I just want to go back the way it was.

Other than that, I did enjoy 20,000 Leagues under the sea. I know it's just nostalgia and I want everything to stay the same, but I want everything to STAY THE SAME!

The "Food Rocks" show and the greatness of Figment at EPCOT.

I do miss the old Pleasure Island with the Beach Club and 8 Tracks. The stories I could tell.....

Good times!

I miss the following:

Original Figment Ride
Horizons
Pleasure Island - Mainly Adventurers Club
The Hunchback Show
Mr. Toads Wild Ride

The original Figment
Horizons
Food Rocks
Adventure Club
The bus that drove around the countries
Mr. Toad
The Living Statues in Italy
The lights of winter

I turned 21 around the same time the AC closed. I had ALWAYS wanted to go and enjoy everything, and I never got the chance.

My boyfriend turned 21 in December & we just got back from WDW. He was quite upset because he'd been waiting for quite a while to visit AC.

I will echo some of what has already been said.
1. The unique offerings/better quality in the restaurants. I miss the "golden age" of Disney Dining when Disney proudly advertised top quality meals down to Mickey shaped butter.
2. Adventurer's Club and pay-to-enter Pleasure Island with the New Year's Eve celebration every night.
3. The Skyway!
4. Holiday Lights at Epcot
5. Resort Specific Merchandise- I loved getting a shirt or mug from the specific resort I stayed at.
6. Wonders of Life pavilion. Although it needed an update, there was so much there to LOVE that I don't know why they gutted the whole thing the way they did.
7. Tapestry of Nations
8. Food Rocks. (Although I LOVE Soarin!)

Hands down, the Adventurer's Club, Comedy Warehouse a Honorable Mention. Every major amusement park has a log flume ride, inverted rollercoasters 'haunted house' etc., etc., etc. Only Disney had The AC, a completely unique entertainment concept. We go WDW less often as a result of its closure.

Bill From PA

I totally agree! We would often go to the AC several times per trip. What a blast! Kungaloosh!

Jack Wagner's (may he rest in peace) voice on the monorail. At least we still hear him say, "Please stand clear of the doors...POR favor mantenganse alejaro de las puertas." and in a few other locations.

Missed this but I totally agree!

I miss the Bear in the Big Blue House version of PlayHouse Disney Live on Stage. I thought it was FAR superior to the newer version.

I miss the fresh caramel corn in the big buckets at Sleepy Hollow.

Just to set my record straight:

I WOULD HAVE said "If You Had Wings" but that was changed more than 10 years ago. I seriously pine for that ride.
