So i'm going on a girls trip in August with my mom and my sister. Yay! I'm excited. I really am! The only thing?

This is THE. FIRST. TIME. i've EVER been away from my 17 month for more than a few hours:scared1: I plan on letting Daddy take him on a few hours at a time over the summer and take the reins at bedtime for a little while, but I worry about how he'll do with 4 days of NO MOMMA:confused: I'm sure he'll be fine, but i'm just getting worked up

I also worry that I won't have any fun at WDW because i'll be worrying too much about him!

My DD8 i'm not worried about at all. She loves hanging out with Daddy and while she's a little peeved with me about going to FL without her, Daddy let her know that they'll be doing fun stuff while i'm gone.:cheer2:

Yes Ma'am it is!

We're going to Disney next April as a family, Dh isn't a disney fanatic like me, but agreed to go next year when DS is able to actually KNOW what he's seeing...lol AAAND DD8 got to go last fall with her BFF and her family for a week who are members of DVC.

I understand the feeling your having. He will be fine once you are gone. The same as when they first start daycares. They always cry until mom is out of sight (out of sight out of mind). May be a good idea not to talk with him. I know it would be hard but he may get upset by hearing your voice and not seeing you. But try to have a good time. It's not like he is with a stranger, you know he is in good hands.

Just a little story :lmao: --> My daughter was 11 and we put her in a week long camp. Before dropping her off she was in a soccer tournament and while playing at the pool broke her baby toe. Because she is a trooper she only missed one game and then played the last 2 and we won gold. Anyways...I dropped her off at camp and knew that I couldn't talk to her for the week. I was excited to have time to myself and DH. But after leaving her I missed her so much and was upset I couldn't talk to her and that she was surrounded by strangers. Plus her toe was broken. After picking her up she had a great time and I wish I would have enjoyed my time more.

I guess what im saying is..don't stress. Enjoy your time.

Sorry for the long response.
