Worried about weather

Hi all,

We are supposed to go to Disney on Tuesday, and I'm really worried about this rain they have been having. If it were an adult only vacation, I wouldn't care about us getting wet (or spending some quality time at one of the bars) but we're traveling with a baby. Is anyone local, or has anyone been down there this week that can give me an idea what it's like? We have the full trip insurance, so we're debating putting the trip off until September if the weather doesn't turn. Any insight would be welcome!

It rained almost every day we were there last June. So I am guessing it is a similar weather pattern. Rain seems to come and go in Orlando.

Here is what we did. We had a 2 year old in our group, so we also were cautious about the weather. We went to the parks early in the morning. We would go, go, go until we could see that the clouds were coming in. We would then go to our car and it usually would be raining by the time we returned to the house. This was usually sometime mid-afternoon and we would all get in our nap. The rain was usually done after dinner, so we could return if we wanted to.

If you get caught at the park when it rains (we did a couple of times before we learned the pattern), we just went into one of the restaurants to eat. Do not try to go to your car and leave! We did that once after it started raining and saw lightening strike in the parking lot.
