Worried about our CRT reservation!

Hi all, I'm hoping for some reassurance please and maybe some helpful hints so I can stop worrying!

We have an early ADR for CRT (8.10am) on one of the days we're at MK - the park opens at 9am so no early magic hours or anything.

I have read on here before that so many people have early ADRs that its a nightmare getting through the turnstiles and then again checking in at the restaurant.

If we have an 8.10am ADR, what time will the CMs let us through the turnstiles? Are there really BIG lines for checking in at the restaurant? Please be honest - even though it will scare me!!! LOL

We had the same time ADR for Tusker House in July and there were people checking in for 9am ADRs!!! So that worries me too!!!

I can't even begin to express how much Mum and I are looking forward to our breakfast here - I'm sure you all feel exactly the same - but I'm worried it'll stress me out!!!

We've never had a problem getting in for an early ADR. Yes there will be a line - no it is not horrible. Yes there will be a line for checking in at the restaurant - no it is not horrible either. They will likely let you in at right around eight. The restaurants know when they open the gates and don't expect people to arrive earlier than that. We've had 8:05 ressies, stopped and rented a stroller after going through the gates, got a quick photopass picture on a mostly empty main street, and then preceeded to the restuarant - we arrived about 8:15 - no problem. We were seated almost immediately and had a wonderful breakfast. Enjoy yourself and don't get too stressed - it'll all work out

I agree with ShellyBaxter. We have had the same scenario. We were hustling up Main St, stressing. all for nothing. There were a few people waiting, but took us right away. As long as you have those ressies, it will be alright

I"d add that you should enjoy MainStreet without all the people when you get the chance that morning, too. Stop to take a picture or two! I have one from our March trip where we literally got to MainStreet before dawn on an EMH day. I had a Disney photographer take out pic so that my family could prove I was crazy, getting them to the parks before the sun came up.

We didn't have any problem getting in when we were there in Ocotober for our 8:05 AM CP ADR. I was surprised when they didn't validate that we had an ADR before letting us in. The line to get through the turnstile was longer than I anticipated so we couldn't take as much time walking up Main Street as I would have liked (without all the people).

We too have never had any problems getting in for an early breakfast at CRT. I second getting there early if for no other reason to take the empty park photos. You will love the breakfast, the food is great and the experience is so magical!!!

I just want our trip to be perfect after our little disaster at Disney in Summer!!!
I can't wait to take photos of a 'nearly' empty MK either!!!
