Our flights to and from Orlando in a couple of weeks are on Northwest. I know that a judge blocked the flight attendants from striking last weekend, but I also understand that was just one battle in the war.
What recourse will we have if there is a strike? Is Northwest responsible for getting us on another flight if they aren't flying? If not - what should I be doing (short of booking a totally new flight at my own cost)?
I don't understand all of the issues, but I certainly also don't understand what the flight attendants would gain with a strike, since that would essentially kill the airline.
