Worried about crowds at the end of March

So I have booked a trip at the end of March, 2006 (Mon, 20th - Fri, 24th) thinking it wouldn't be as bad as the summer and the weather wouldn't be as hot and humid. Then I just read the updated "best days" calendar from the touringplans website and saw that our week is a 10...ALL WEEK!!! :earseek: The only other week that gets a 10 is Christmas week. Now, I know Easter is going to be late (end of April) next year, so I thought end of March would be good. My kids are young (4 & 18 months at the time of our trip), so I'm not aware when all of the spring breaks are, especially next year.

So, my question is, is it going to be that bad (level 10) regarding the crowds? Or is it really hit and miss during that time? We have already booked our flights, so we are locked into that time. If it is going to be that bad, then I am really going to plan some strategies for hitting the good attractions, so that we don't spend the whole time in lines.

that IS about spring break time......but.....springbreakers usually enjoy sleeping in...hehe :goodvibes ....so go early and get fastpasses for anything you want to save for later

Hi Ryan,

Lots of spring breaks in March, especially among colleges. Many public elementary/middle/high schools (especially in the Northeast) do not always have their spring break at Easter time and will often have it in March instead.

Hello! I was just there this year for the last week of March, and it was Easter. I was so worried about the crowds, but if you are there at opening and use fast pass, you should not have any problems. I also had a good plan of where to go first, etc. The longest we waited for anything was 45 minutes for Fantasmic. Good luck!

We have been at WDW over Christmas week for the past 7 years, and unless you are going Easter week, I cannot imagine it would be that crowded. Even during Christmas if you plan well and go with the flow you should be fine, Here we come Christmas 2005 :cool1: :rotfl:  :cheer2:
