Worlds Largest McDonalds?

www.mcfun.com

Its these guys, too bad to hear that the one with the big playplace is dirty, I imagine it would be tough to keep clean, but should be done. I was planning on taking the family there for an offsite meal, think i'll stop by and preview it 1st.

question about McDonalds - where is the only (as far as I am aware) McD with a white M - instead of a yellow one............?

We drove by the Orlando McD's on our way to the Florida Mall. I remember it saying it was the world's largest indoor play area. We laughed because it was advertising pizza and shrimp scampi!!!

Actually, I thought that the biggest one is in Moscow, Russia and it is huge! It's usually empty though because a meal there is about the average monthly income for a Russian family.

That is what I thought too - I have actually been in it while visiting Moscow. I think that it has the most cash registers at 70 or so. That is what our tour guide said anyway... Now - I was only in it because I had been living in Ukraine for 15 months and was looking for a bit of home :earboy2: Not a big McD's fan here ;)

Are the prices at this McDonald's as crazy as the one in DL's California Adventure? We paid $17 for 2 cheeseburger meals (drinks weren't included in the advertised price and we didn't find out til we waited for 30 minutes and ordered!)

Isn't there a big McDonald's on the WDW property, up the street from the All-Star resorts? I could have sworn we passed it going to AK and BB.

Yes, there is. It doesn't have a play place. It does have a big screen where they show cartoons.

In the Travel Channel show it said these McDonalds are owned by the same franchisee who also has other ones in Orlando with different themes, I think there's a safari McDonalds and 2-3 other ones.

They call them "McDonalds Bistros" to seperate them from the ordinary McD's. IIRC, there is one with a "Harley Davidson" theme out near the Harley dealership. The one further west on Sand Lake (the "adult" one nearer Turkey Lake) has a European cafe theme. I'm fairly sure the one in Downtown Disney is not a "Bistro."

To echo what a lot of people have said, the one just west of I-Drive (with the largest play place) is loud and usually dirty. The bistro food at the three or so I've been to is overpriced and not that great. If you're hungry and in a hurry, I recommend you just visit a normal McD's (there are plenty of those around town, too).

AH! We went to that one on I-drive...so loud, tons of rip off machines, dirty, just awful.
