We have stayed at Worldquest, back in March 2009. It was fairly recently built I think. Distance-wise, it is not far from Disney property. I remember taking World Center Drive (close to the big Marriott World Center), and turning right just past the Nickelodeon Hotel. Worldquest actually backs up to 417, and I could see the Gaylord Palms nearby. Like I said, it is close to Disney, although the way you have to drive to the resort might make you feel like it is isolated. If you need to buy stuff or food, it may be a little drive to get back over to Apopka-Vineland and/or I-drive where all the restaurants/shopping is.
The hotel was decent enough (we were only there 1 night). Occupancy must have been very low for a while, because our 2 bedroom had the feel of not being used very much- it was clean, but a bit dusty from lack of use. I've never seen that in a hotel before. Then again, 2009 was probably a very bad year for travel.
With all that said, I think I booked straight through the hotel itself. These units are condo hotels if I recall correctly, meaning that unit owners can use the hotel manager to rent out the rooms or I guess do it themselves if they wish.
