I read in several "secrets" guides that one of the flags flown over the WTC site is in Epcot at the American Pavillion. Is this currently true?? Has anyone who has been there recently seen it?

Which flag is it, is it labeled, many flags have flown at the WTC site, what is the story behind this one?

Where is it located in the exibit, and can you easily see it without doing the entire american adventure show?

Thanks for sharing...

Kevin (getting into the world on May 11th)

p.s. am I the only one who cannot get the site search to work?

In doing my looking on google and yahoo, I saw lots of news articles on the New exibit, and could not tell if the flag in question was part of the new exibit or the old one. I fear that it may have gone during the update.

Anyone been there recently (since July 07) and seen it?

We were there in Dec. and I do not recall seeing it. It definitely would have struck up some sadness for me, as I lost a friend in one of the towers. I also had a friend's brother do some of the recovery with the NYFD, so I would have remembered it.

I guess i will scratch it off of the list of things to see. Would have been interesting to see. I find myself drawn to that kind of thing, and yet wanting to avoid it at the same time.... kinda wierd.

I am still searching for another reason to make Epcot a must do, other than the Davy Jones concert. :hippie:

Thanks to you guys for the help.

Will be "in the world" May 11th - 16th. My current plan has Epcot for Monday the 12th of May.

I didn't know anyone in NY that day, but it still was such a horrible loss. I cried when I saw the flag at the American Pavillion it was displayed inside on the right hand side on a wall, you couldn't miss it. It was tattered and had been neatly framed. I still have issues with seeing images of the WTC on tv and in old movies. I am sorry for your loss.

I love Epcot. I think there are lots of great reasons to go.

The flag is not there anymore. Some questioned that it actually flew on 9/11. Whatever. It was a connection to that day. Off the soapbox now.

There is an exhibit inside the pavilion that you might want to check out. You do not have to go onto the attraction. In fact, you don't even have to go on the attraction to walk around inside the American pavilion. I think the quotes in there are the best.
