As my date for making ADR's approaches, I am having a hard time deciding where to eat dinner at Epcot's World Showcase. I need some advice! Please!:confused3 I am thinking about making my ADR for my family at Le Cellier the first day that I am able to because I know they are hard to come by. I LOVE steak! But my DH was wanting to try Teppan Edo, but I am just not sure. My original thought was Les Chefs de France. What is your favorite restaurant and why? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also follow a low carb diet, but am willing to cheat if it is really worth it! Much thanks!

Our last trip, we ate at the following places in EPCOT:

Akershus (dinner)
Biergarten (lunch)
Teppan Edo
Tutto Italia
Garden Grill

Of those, we *all* loved Biergarten...which TOTALLY surprised me. It was the one place I wasn't looking forward to at all.

Teppan Edo was really good and everyone (but me) seemed to love it. It was good, but it's just not my cup of tea.

Garden Grill was great for the character interaction, but not so great for the food. I wouldn't probably do it again.

Akershus was AWESOME for the princess interaction, and the food was good.

On our last trip, we ate at the San Angel Inn, Tutto Italia, Chefs de France, and Biergarten. Of the the four, Tutto was, without question, the best meal. It was really fresh tasting and everything we had was perfect...and I'm Italian! San Angel Inn was not very good, although I liked it less than my husband and the atmosphere is pretty incredible. Chefs was, IMO, absolutely horrible. I acutally sent my meal back, which is something I never, ever do.
Biergarten was also a lot of fun and we had a good meal.

Biergarten is the place for me. I like german food, but most people don't seem to want to touch a lot of the things served. I think it is fun to eat there as well which can't be said for a lot of epcot's stoic dining options. Plus when I can have beer served by the liter and sing along to some songs, that's an experience.

We ate at Biergarten last night, for the first time in about six years, and were thrilled to discover that it was just as tasty and just as much fun as we'd remembered. My DD5 loved being able to dance during the show (being in ballet, she did her ballet moves to the polka, which made my heart melt), my DS2 loved being able to shovel a couple pounds of sausage and other meats into his mouth while watching all the festivities, and my wife and I enjoyed being able to relax, eat well, and get to know the fun family that was seated at our table.

The service was very friendly, very warm and very efficient, the food turned over quickly, the band was fun and funny, and overall it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it, and we will certainly be back in fewer than six more years!

Our last trip
Le Cellier
Rose an Crown
Chefs de France
San Angle

& in EPCOT but not at World Showcase
Coral Reef

Want to get to this year
Biergarten

We've eaten everywhere many times except Teppan Edo only because we have an excellent hibachi restaurant in town and my kid's are "eh" on the food.

The only two places I can't reccomend are San Angel (food has gone downhill considerably especially since they serve Tostito's salsa and chip's) and Askerhaus' L&D since we haven't been since the changes.

Biergarten is fun and I love the food and beer sampler. Sitting with other families is hit or miss.

Chef's de France is always a delight. I reccomend the flat bread app with bacon. Although my DD isn't crazy the pasta come's with chicken on top.

If I were you, I would go with your thought to try and get the ADR for Le Cellier. I haven't been there in a couple of trips, but it has always been good and I find the staff there to be some of the nicest in all of World Showcase.

Definitely take a look at the menus if you can and see what appeals to you. We are a family of picky eaters and we LOVE Chefs de France! It is a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. We have heard good things about Tutto Italia but have stuck to Chefs. We used to always eat at Le Cellier as part of the Candlelight Processional package but it went down hill for us. We had a bad experience 2 years in a year and so we switched. But its very possible it was just us cause a lot of people still like it. I say follow your instincts and do what you want to do cause everyone here loves something different. :goodvibes

I have eaten at LC, TE, Biergarten, Akershus, SAI, Les Chefs and Bistro.

My order is:
Les Chefs (try the beef tenderloin, it's better than anything at LC)
Bistro (Excellent food, expensive as heck)
Biergarten (good food, good beer, good entertainment)
Akershus (the cold buffet and deserts are real good)
LC (just a slight notch above "Outback Steakhouse")
SAI (never had a good experience)
TE (can have a better show, better food and better price at a hibachi restaurant where I live)

Bottom line is you have to go with where your gut tells you to go and to take everything you read here with a grain of salt.

When visiting Epcot we've eaten at:
Garden grill. ...food just OK character interaction awesome, but they seem to rush us through our meal.
Coral reef: excellent on all issues. Nuff said.
Nine dragons. Surprisingly very good food. Time that with the acrobats.
Last but not least. Tutto italia: Great food great service dining alfresco , cold beer. Make sure u request to eat outside.
Those are theonly two restaurants in the world s I've eaten in.
This October we have ressies for le cellier, teppon edo, and coral reef. IMHO Epcot restaurants whichever u go with I'm sure u wont be disappointed. Remember it's Disney! No one is unhappy in Disney. LOL. Good luck planning.
