Just wondering what restaurants are not to be missed when dining in the WS. Our family has eaten at LeCellier and San Angel Inn. Thanks!

Rose and Crown Pub in the U.K.
I had the most amazing Fish and chips there.
Tasted just like the fish and chips I got in England and Scotland when I visted there.
My BF had the Lamb stew and he absolutely loved it as well.
Definately not one I would miss!

We really enjoy the Nine Dragons. I LOVE  the Honey Sesame Chicken and my DH loves  the Canton Pepper Beef. We both loved the Sha Cha Beef Skewers appetizer. :thumbsup2

I also loved Rose N Crown. The Steak and Fish was perfect. Dh didn't care for it but he got the curry dish :confused3

Our top favorite is Le Chefs de France! Then we like San Angel Inn and LeCellier.

We think the best one is Bistro de Paris. Its upstairs from Chef's de France. Different menu & a bit more up-scale.

For a sit down meal I love the Rose and Crown. The Guiness stew is my favorite.

A lot of it depends on your tastes. We have been to all except San Angel, bistro, and Rose and Crown. They are all unique and have many reasons to visit them. Beirgarten is up there for us because of the atmosphere, food, and getting to sit with others, we love to meet new people. Nine Dragons is nice because we have always been able to walk right in and love the food. Marrakesh's food is unique and the belly dancer is awesome. Chefs and Teppanyaki and good too. I would recommend taking look at menus and going with the food you want, all of the restaurants are to not be missed.

I would like to recommend the restaurant inside Mexico for the atmosphere and the margaritas.

I would recommend against Marrakesh? We had reservations to eat there one night and just before we went in, some teenager was throwing up outside the place with his dad patting him on the back. We asked him if it was the food and he said yes. We canceled and went to the Japan fast food place... delicious!

I would suggest you look at the menus. Taste in food is very subjective. I see a previous poster loved Marrakesh. DH and I HATED it.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks for all the replies. Now I have to decide if I want to replace San Angel Inn or LeCellier with something else. I feel like my family needs to try something different. We all like different foods so it's a matter of choosing which one. Which one is the chinese restaurant? We all love chinese food.

You will get so many different answers for this question. For me, it is Coral Reef and Le Cellier. The creamy lobster bisque at Coral Reef is SOOOOO good. Wow. I just wanted to buy a gallon of it and drink it.

Edit: Oh, Coral Reef might not be considered World Showcase dining. It is no matter to me, the place was still great.

We particularly like Marrakesh in Morocco and both Chefs de France and Bistro de Paris in France.

Been to Marrakesh several times, never gotten sick, but have had some meals that were better than others. (DH loved the food even at one of the meals I considered less good than previous times, but it was his first time.) Worth a try if you are willing to be adventurous, since there aren't lots of good Moroccan places around the US.

If you're not on the DDP, and want something fairly upscale, I would say definitely Bistro de Paris. It was one of our favorite meals on our last trip. (The other two "favorites" were California Grill and Victoria & Albert's.) Chefs de France is good, too, and on the DDP, but it is a little noisier and more crowded feeling. I think the food is still very good there, if not quite as outstanding as Bistro. Bistro also feels a little less kid friendly, just because it is quieter and more gracious seeming. (Don't get me wrong, there were kids there last time we ate there, but they were quiet and well-behaved.) We really like both of them, and I don't think you could go wrong.

Anyway, those are my favorites in the WS. I also agree with the Coral Reef suggestion if you don't mind venturing to the other side of Epcot. The lobster bisque is usually excellent, and we're big fans of the chocolatey desserts there. We've had mixed luck with the entrees there, but you can't beat the view.

We've actually got Marrakesh, Chefs de France, and Coral Reef ADRS for our next trip. (We'll be on the DDP, and we'll have our 2 yr old DS with us, so we reluctantly passed on Bistro.)

I love the Marrakesh, and the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. I also have always enjoyed Akershus, but seeing I don't have children I prefer it without the characters.

I would like to recommend the restaurant inside Mexico for the atmosphere and the margaritas.

I would recommend against Marrakesh? We had reservations to eat there one night and just before we went in, some teenager was throwing up outside the place with his dad patting him on the back. Just because one teenager was sick after eating in a restaurant is hardly a reason to warn against going there.

He may have picked up a sickness beforehand and that was the first sypmtom, he migh have very plain tastes and decided he didn't like the spices used...he might be bullemic for all you know...

I can undersand that the sight of someone throwing up outside a restaurant might put you off that night, but to state that people shouldn't go there because it may make them sick is going a bit far don't you think?

On the original subject, Bisto de Paris is excellent, the Teppanyaki restaurant has always been very good. We were pretty disappointed with le Cellier though after all the rave reviews. It wasn't bad, just not as good as we were expecting.
