I've read that you can buy a WS Passport and get it stamped in each country. Will they stamp a homemade passport???? Just trying to save a $$$ ! :earsgirl:

I would think they would...
We got each of the girls a passport when we went and they loved it...
The girls did enjoy putting the stickers on as we went and they also stamped the thing they make(can't think of what it's called)...is it a mask or something?...that was free at the first stop and each place they went to added something to it...

Why don't you just do the masks instead? They are free, and you get a stamp and something to add to it (bead, construction paper, item, etc.) at each country. I think they actually make a better souvenir, too.

Here's a small tip: You know how Mom ends up carrying everything. When the mask is finished and inevitably handed to me, I go to the nearest gift shop and ask for one of the green bags. I put the mask in it and hang the bag on my fanny pack. It's almost like I'm not carrying anything!

Although my DD's 3 and 5 at the time loved the mask's the passports were handed to me and that was it. They weren't interested at all!

Maybe if they were older, so in a few years.

My kids love the masks! Be sure to give that a try (free!). Just ask at the first country you come to. You'll need to find where the Kidcot station is.

The Passports were somewhat fun b/c it had a bunchof stickers and they would work on them at meals sometimes - but as far as getting them stamped, it wasn't necessary because the mask was already providing interaction at each country.

That said, I have heard of kids getting autograph book pages stamped and other types of momentos as well. You won't have trouble - whatever you decide.

Enjoy!

..our kids have Disney autograph books and the WS CM's were happy to stamp a blank page and usually added a little text (" Welcome to Italy, Bethany" in italian (Beth became 'Bettania' and wanted us to change her name!LOL) or similar. Great fun. Given Disney's attention to service, I reckon they'd stamp your T shirt or head if you asked!

Thanks tarheel for the tip on getting a bag to carry the masks in.

We'll have our autograph books so we'll try to get stamped there and we're already planning to make our masks. Thanks everyone!

Given Disney's attention to service, I reckon they'd stamp your T shirt or head if you asked!
So true, so true!

I can state for a fact that they do! They will even create a passport styled page in an autograph book and sign and stamp that. I have a friend that goes with me a couple days each trip and to save cash she has been known to do both.
