I'm curious how many hours you spend to go around the World Showcase at Epcot? I know this varies by how many shows you watch, stopping for activities/characters/food. So if you could please give me a general idea of how much you do.

We usually get fatigued half way through (start at Mexico) because we try to do all of Epcot in one day, so our new strategy will be to dedicate a day to just World Showcase and see if we can make it all the way around and see more of the details and stop of entertainers. Anyone else do this at Epcot?

I almost always devote a whole day to the World Showcase - it is just so much easier - I leave a lot of time for rest, entertainment and food - plus I take boat transportation when my feet need a rest. :)

Have a great trip!

That's a great idea. We tried to do the Showcase in an afternoon on our last trip, thinking there wouldn't be much we wanted to do with 2 young kids, but we could have easily spent a whole day there!

Ditto what Jill said. We spend one whole day in World Showcase, and most of a day in Future World.

My plan right now is to arrive at 11 and enter through the international gateway. That way we are already by France and Great Britain I think? If we work our way around counter clockwise, what time should I make a Maelstrom FP+ for?

We usually find that we spend our mornings and afternoons in the other 3 parks and because we have AP's we save epcot and world showcase for the late afternoon and evening we find that we could go there almost everyday because of all the food choices everyone has there favorite pick and all the kids like to do the kidcot spots more the once.:cool1:

We never try to do it in one day. We spend 2 days, minimum at Epcot. The mornings are for FW. The afternoons are for WS. We will explore from Canada to Japan on the first day and from Mexico to the American pavilion the next day. This allows for a much more leisurely pace and a thorough exploration of what each pavilion has to offer. Plus taking in all the WS performers. If we're there for F&G, we'll most likely be there for at least a couple of hours every day.
