I'm currently in line on Ticketmaster trying to buy game 2 tickets. I got on at exactly 10am when sales started and it's a 45 minute wait. UGGGGG! Why did I promise to get these tickets? My stupid laptop regularly over heats and shuts off without warning.....this is a total nail bitter.

And...this is just in case we win the next 2 games.

Wow you must be rich!!! LOL kidding, but good luck, I will watch from the 700 level.
That is the level my couch is at with all the $2 beers I can enjoy.
Its not the same but I need my money for the mouse.

I tried to get some as well. Apparently they sold out in about 20 minutes. I hope you were one of the lucky ones...I was not :(
It makes me consider buying a flex pack next year and then having the option to buy playoff tickets (wishful thinking on my part that they could make playoffs next year)
Good luck and Go Jays Go!!!

They had a raffle of sorts for the Mets to buy any non-season ticket holder tickets. As soon as people had their hands on them they were up on StubHub minutes later for in the thousands.

Well no tickets for me....I had 2 windows open and someone in another location also trying. I can't understand how when you click the buy button at the exact time the tickets go on sale that you get shut out. I don't have much luck with concert tickets either.

My DD said that the Jays twitter(or something) said that more tickets are being released randomly. I know there are several thousand seats that are MLB obligation tickets and once those are decided upon many go back into the ticket pool and can be purchased.

As far as being 'rich'.....heck no. We have had a very serious loss in our lives this year and are doing a few experience type things. Do I have a spare $1000 that I can foolishly spend this way.....no, but I can work a little extra to make up for it. Life is VERY short and this is something I want to do with my family.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. Hopefully, if they make it, you'll still get a chance. You could always do a small house gathering with a few friends and family for each game as a way to enjoy it more. Nothing worse than paying a gazillion dollars for a game and the team doesn't show up. They've been so inconsistent in these playoffs. Wishing them the best though.

Dancing, I didnt mean anything by my comments and you dont need to justify. I am trully sorry for your losses and fully understand about living in the now. I was just refering to the cost of the tickets for the WS.
My name is short for mortician so I know that life is short and that is why we escape to Disney every year even though we should spend our money on other things.
Good luck on the tickets and as the pp says if not have a house full of friends and love.
All the best

I went on at 10 am and couldn't get a single. I had gotten a single for one of the Friday of the first series (not too hurt based on the outcome that I had to sell since I didn't realize it would be a day game when I bought it). I could never justify the price from Stubhub but from ticketmaster for a single I could.

LOL....I took it as a joke. The tickets are really expensive....I agree. With my luck I'd get the very last row in the 500 level and those are $200 each.

Seems we work in, sort of, related areas. I'm in long term care. I get to spend my days with those fortunate enough to grow old. It's made me realize that as unpleasant as aging can be it's a luxury to have the chance.

I looked on Stubhub yesterday around 11am and tickets in the 500's were going for a minimum of $350 for game 2 and $450 for game 6. I can't spend that much....if I could I'd just spend more and get good seats. :rotfl:

I had tickets for Game 4 of the ALCS and game 6 of the WS. We had tix in the 4'th row in level 500 above the KC dugout. In all honesty I would have sold the WS tix for face value. It was the first and last time that I sit in level 500. I just felt that I was out of touch of the game up there. At least I get lots of money back now. Last nights game was a real heartbreaker

Yup but lots of men in scoring position just couldn't capitalize on it. For those who had the tickets or who were going to buy them, treat yourself next time your in the World for a special dinner at V&A, might even be cheaper.:scared:

I've had 3rd row in the 500's right behind the plate(back on aug 2....the game that started the winning streak). It was the first time we sat there and while I prefer my 100 level seats I didn't mind sitting there at all. We bought the tickets really last minute and I thought I would give it a try.

I'm already excited for next season. GO JAYS!!!!
