World Passport Collection Questions

Hi everyone -- We're considering buying into DVC, and knowing that our vacation needs will change over the next 50 (!) years, we're curious about the World Passport Collection, both here in the US and in Europe and the Caribbean.
Has anyone ever stayed at any of the resorts listed by Disney in Europe (specifically Spain), Mexico or the Caribbean islands, and even in the east coast US, such as Myrtle Beach, New Jersey, Ocean City, Maryland, Cape Cod? If so, we'd be interested in hearing your opinions, both on the resorts themselves, the proximity to the beach and other amenities, and if it's worth usng points on these places. Are there hidden costs? Any other pros or cons, or issues we should be aware of? Thanks !

We used one in england when we were short of money for a flight to US and it was great. Also used our points for Disneyland Paris and this year a disney cruise The ones in Spain look good but have just bought a holiday home there so doubt we will use the passport collection except to travel further south

We also own at the Royal Palm Beach Club in St Maarten and we really enjoy our week there every year.
