World of Warcraft anyone?

My DS's play a game called Rune scape. It is $5.00 per month to be a member or they have a free version that you can play. I think it is similar to WoW so your DS might enjoy it. I have never seen anything sexual on the game at all. Beware of the addiction with these types of games though! It can get to where he won't want to do anything else! Fortunately my DS's seem to go through periods where they play a lot and periods where they don't play at all. Good luck!

This means that language can be a problem. A group of 25ish year old guys (or girls) isn't going to just change the way they play because there is a 12 year old around. And asking them to do so is, in my opinion, rude. That is why they have things like language filters and ignore lists built in to the game.

Alright I am going to start by saying that may be true for some, but for others it most certainly is not, I play or played with, before I changed servers and factions, two young men who were the ages of twelve and another who was fifteen, I myself am turning twenty here soon, and I made EVERYONE in our Ventrillo server, which is something we use to talk to others through, you pay a monthly fee on it as well, unless your guild leader has one, but thats only to Own the server, you can be on any server for free and its free to download. But I had everyone watching their mouths and behaving so that we wouldnt upset the parents of the younger gentlemen in the group. I know how my mom would feel if I were that young and people were running off at the mouth. In my vent server, we dont allow for anyone to be constantly cussing, its ok to slip up once in a while, cause we are all going to get annoyed, but its not ok to be dropping the "F" bomb every few seconds.

And here are some facts about wow that you havent been told, I have been playing for roughly two years now.

1) To upgrade from the trial to Classic wow, its 19.99

2) To upgrade from Classic to Burning crusade (First expansion) Its 29.99

3) To upgrade from BC to Wrath of the Lich king (Current expansion) its about $40 dollars, give or take, Havent priced it recently....

4) Its 29.99 every two months, 60 day game card, or 14.99 every month, 30 day game card. or as low as like 10 for a 1 year subscription.

Also, for each account, it needs to be upgraded to Wrath in order to access the Full game and full content. You will be able to see the Wrath characters and armor/Weapons, but you will not be able to attain them yourself. So for households that have 3 accounts active with Wrath, it means they paid the same as I have stated above for Each account they have active. And the fees are to keep more realms appearing, more developements going, and to pay the wonderful staff that keeps upgrading the game.

Another consideration is how good is your computer going to run once it has all this on it, and is it going to handle the task of running wow without lag issues, and are you still going to be able to use it for what you need to do without your DS using all the memory in your harddrive for his game. My Laptop is dedicated to wow alone pretty much and its a smaller old lappy so it doesnt handle as much.

There are filters, and there are some really friendly guilds, most of them you are going to find are the ones we call Leveling guilds, which are the ones with a bunch of people trying to reach that top level which is 80, its addictive, but you must know how to walk away, I dont like getting up from it, but I can walk away in the middle of Naxxramas (A Big Level 80, 10 or 25 man instance that is called a Raid) And depending upon what faction, what server type, and what guild/area your DS is in then it wouldnt matter about the language filter, I walk through half the places around the world of wow, and never see anything bad, I havent seen anything that would make me think that wow would be unacceptable for a younger child, and I know a few friends that have their little ones playing along side them ^.^ Its not that it cant be done and that its not appropriate for younger teens, its that its the parents decision on what they want their DS/DDs to be doing with their time and to make sure they stay ontop of everything they need to do for school and around the home. v.v sorry to sound so serious ^.^ I am normally hyper and happy go lucky....

And on the note of Selling wow accounts, Yes you can do it, and Blizzard doesnt want you to, but there are ways to do it, and I have seen alot of characters being sold, I though about buying one at one point but changed my mind when I saw the prices. There are some as high as $600 for just one character... It saves alot of time yes, but do you have that much money to be spending? I dont Tee hee hee Wish I did though!!!!!

I hope you and your DS12 have a wonderful time ^.^ and I hope this wasnt to long and boring xD
